Official NHL thread 2007-2008

So is Nashville... Damn Wings again the curse of them winning the Presidents trophy!

GO WINGS!

I second that. Plus if the Habs go out it'll help me out in my pool big time.

Oh and Steven's being a dirty player? Who cares. He has 3 Stanley Cup rings.

Being a former Québec Nordiques fan , I can't stand the habs either so I couldn't be more happy to see them out of the playoffs as quickly as possible ! They would'nt have a chance in the second round anyway .

go habs go...in your face,5 nothing win against bruins,Canadiens played their game like they did all year,Bruins did the same, thats why they forced a 7th game...great series(go to hell Chara)just came back from the bell center and you guys never experienced a game like that...the best city to play hockey and it can be the worst, but at least people give a damn, not like those southern cities, where you guys only care about fights and etc...

24 stanley cups,no wonder you cant stand us...ha ha

yeah well most Nordiques fans are now Habs fan so...,and we'll see for second round,by the way Vinnie and Marty always dreamed of playing for the habs, but money kept them in Tampa...but that may change in the next years, the only reason Vinnie would not finish his career in Montreal is money, and that would not be too goood for his popularity...(in Montreal where his family is and friends lives but mostly where he will retired...)

You realize you're cheering for a bunch of soccer players?

Montreal is known for their diving, that's why their PP is so good, haha.

Either way, the Habs will only be able to handle the Rangers in the East. If they face anyone else they're done.

First of all most Nordiques fan are NOT habs fan , second , your statement about Marty and Vinny dreaming of playing in Montreal is totally untrue , Vinny has the same philosophy as Mario Lemieux towards playing in Montreal ( too much pressure for a Quebecois ) it has nothing to do with money at all . Even if he ends up not re-signing with Tampa , don't bet on him ever playing for Montreal .

and Jay Feaster would have to be the biggest moron in history to let either of them go

Whats the matter? No one have anything to say about the only unbeaten team in the play-offs. Pittsburgh Penguins will raise the cup.

Sean Avery is a dick.

And he pulled Elisha.

Could be. I was always a Phili fan from the days when I was first collecting cards, and my buddies and I all wanted that Lindros rookie. That was like the 79 Gretzky card to us. And the Legion of Doom days...they were great, and a great team to watch. They were just the baddest team. A bunch of huge goal scrorers running around like a bunch of goons. They are probably one of my favorite teams, after the Wild and the Avs. I hope they pull it off, but I wouldn't doubt it if the Pens pull it off. They are solid.
