Doug Harvey and Eddie Shore need to be in the conversation. Just because they played before most of you were born doesn't diminish their accomplishments.

Also, definitely Phil Housely, Al MacInnis (most fearsome shot from the point of all time without question!), Brian Leetch, Larry Murphy and Scott Niedermeyer need to be mentioned. These guys were tremendous players in their own right and deserve to be recognized.
