I think it was '92-'93 they lost to the Habs in the finals, and then he went on to miss the playoffs the next year before getting fired halfway through '94-'95. Hey, he might surprise me and do really well. I hope the Bolts get it turned around sooner or later though A defense wouldn't go a miss first though Whatever happens their offense will be exciting to watch for years to come!

Tampa has added young defenseman Janne Niskala from Philly to their roster. they weren't kidding when they said they'd be very active during the free agency

Even though he didn't coach , he was working for espn so he was in hockey all that time . I think he must know a little bit about it . I think he has a chance to be a great coach and how hard can it be to coach great players like Lecavalier , ST.Louis , Prospal , Boyle , Malone ... etc ?

I'm a Pittsburgher and have watched Malone his entire career. Last year he had 51 points playing with Malkin. I doubt he will ever top that number. He's a good player. Not a great player. I'm glad TB was the team to overpay Malone.

with teammates like St. Louis, Lecavalier, Boyle, Prospal and Stamkos on his side, there's no telling how hot Malone can get. i wouldn't be surprised to see him net 60 points next season

I'm really happy with all the players the Lightning signed today . Tampa is now able to win their division and after that who knows .

Damn its cool living in Detroit as a hockey fan!! not only are we still celebrating a stanley cup win; we re-sign d-man brad stuart.. re-sign andreas lilja another key d-man; pick up a dependable back-up goalie in ty conklin; and we just signed marian hossa!! were not losing much from the team that just won the cup!! and we just got even better!! and reports are the redwings still might not be done!! :bowdown::nanner::hatsoff:
