my point being allot of the redwings are pretty damn old!! but have maintaned their roster spot but eventually they will retire and trust me detroit has the YOUNG talent to replace the older guys when they retire!! so detroit is rotating its youth and experience only to be even better in the near future!! personally I didn't think the redwings could recover so quickly and or be as effective as they used to be without yzerman; shannahan; lapointe; fedorov; etc... but to my suprise the team has represented well despite all the player turn around!! pretty impressive I think!! personally I don't care for a finesse team; I really like the way the ducks are built!! big; tough; talented; ready to fight; in your face type hockey!!
I'm always amazed that the wings can always find good players year after year. I can't even remember them being bad in my lifetime, and even when others leave it always seems like they can find even more superstars to fill the gap. I can see why it would piss some fans of other teams off. If it goes on too much longer Detroit is going to virtually need their own section for their players in the hall of fame. Still the team has also highly underachieved for the past 20 years or so. Sometimes I look at the teams they have and the players they have had on some of their teams and think they should have won it all at least five or six more times over that period than they had.
Got the W & thats what matters. I hate both teams so dont think i like either one of them. I just want to see a series.
