The talk was how Ben Roethlisberger was doing ... 12 TDs in 2 games.

Maybe .... Just maybe ... Ben Roethlisberger will throw 6 interceptions today. :(

Jets 17, Steelers 3 early in the third quarter. In a surprise.

I'm filing a police report. Someone kidnapped the Jets and sent imposters. Who's on the bye this week? I want their houses searched and brought in for questioning.

The Jets/Steelers game is a good example of just how random the NFL is for any single game, and how too much emphasis should never be placed on a small segment of games.

Yesterday was a good day for the Patriots. Rather than being for a possible tie, Thursdays game is now to see who'll stay one game back.

The Jets and Buccaneers have three wins, against two different franchises. the Jets beat the hapless Raiders in the first game of the season (because someone had to win (Cincy-Carolina aside)) and both the Jets and Bucs have beat the Steelers. Ridiculous.

Serious question to all on here. How far do you think Detroit can go. If they get their offence together they could potentially beat anyone.

Colts are 3 point favorites over New England. I would take the points all day long. I'll be rooting for Indy, but I'd be surprised if the the Patriots win by fewer than 14. Colts defense is going to get shredded. They simply don't have anyone who can stop Gronk. I think he's going to have a gigantic day.

Pats: 38, Colts: 20.

Week 11 of the season and the game of the week is going to be Detroit at Arizona.
Neither one of those teams is going to the Super Bowl. Philly or Green Bay will represent the NFC.

That's kind of their problem with the "if"s about them. You don't know what Detroit team is going to show up. They have the components to beat anybody on a day they are on the mark. A day were everything is clicking for Detroit is something that should be very worrisome for any other team in the league, especially since their defense is actually very good this year, and they have the ability to put up tons of points if Calvin Johnson is healthy. The problem is they also have the capability to come in playing below their skill level, and that isn't a rare occurrence. It might not be as bad in degree as in previous years, but it's still happens often.

I don't think they are as good as their record indicates this year. A couple of games they scraped by against mediocre and bad teams they should have won against handily. Some of those games involved near last minute wins they pulled out, and even some of those had strange things go in their favor. Their schedule has been pretty soft so far this year on the whole. On the other hand they also lost one of their games on last minute things due to kicking problems, and I can't see them having that big of problem kicking field goals the rest of the year, at least I would hope so. That should help them along with having Johnson back into the lineup.

For what it's worth I really do think the coaching change has made them much more disciplined this year. I'm seeing much less stupid mistakes and players losing control of themselves. They also don't seem to melt down as much after some little setback happens like in past years. Even Stafford is playing a little smarter although he still has a couple of "what the hell were you thinking" passes a game like in the past. At this point it's probably safe to say he will never be an elite quarterback, have pinpoint accuracy or read defenses pre-snap and during the play at an elite level, but like the rest of the team, on his good days he might be able to keep up with the best in the league.

Closest to a fixed game as you'll ever see.

Jets started and closed as only a 4 POINT dog to a team who scored 50 points two weeks in a row, with a quarterback who threw for 12 TD's in 2 weeks??
Fuck outta here....

Someone with ALOT of money got to Tomlin and Big Ben.

Big Ben looked like he acquired rheumatoid Arthritis in less than a week.

A much more probable explanation was that Ben wasn't remotely as close to as good as he looked during those two games, and wasn't as bad as he was during the game with the Jets. Funny things can and often happen if a few games without any nefarious outside forces acting on them.

Damn, I hate being right. :(

Hell, I almost picked the score correctly. Indy isn't going anywhere until they fix that goddamn defense and get an offensive line. Bradshaw and Richardson deserve some of the blame, but there wasn't any running room for them all night. 14 carries for 4 yards from your two feature backs? C'mon, man! You're not going to win any football games if you can't have at least some semblance of a balanced attack.

They'll make the playoffs because they play in a shitty division, but this is a team that needs to make some serious changes. I don't want to waste Luck's best years wallowing in mediocrity. It doesn't matter how many times you make the playoffs if you're not ending your season playing for titles.

The NFL cancel the Jets/Bills game in Buffalo Sunday.

Neutral sites being consider are Detroit, Pittsburgh, or Washington DC.

This reminds me of when the Cleveland Indians because of snow had their home opener played at Miller Park vs the Angels. Went to one of the games. Even though not a sell-out there was 30K + that showed up in Milwaukee to support the Indians. Think it was in 2008 If I remember right.

I dunno, probably on a beach in Ibiza with Giselle, shining all those Super Bowl rings while Peyton got bitch slapped in Jersey by the Sea Chickens.

I do, however, know where Tom is now....bitch slapping the Pizza salesman once again.

Word. Where's all those Manning defenders now? Dude's a fucking overrated pussy bitch.

It doesn't matter. It's all a conspiracy, remember? The NFL has already decided to give Peyton the Super Bowl!

:rofl2:

Can't help the big head fuck if he can't get in the red zone. He was getting calls this year before the bottom dropped out. BTW did you happen to catch the Hawks/Chiefs game where the seahawks got 20 points put on the board for them courtesy of the refs and the shitty chefs still beat them? NFL helps all their golden boys that are in position. Believe me if that big forehead SOB starts playing better he will start getting his cock stroked by the league again as well.

Aaron Rodgers also on your so called fav team. Bears lately have to beat the Packers and the refs. But no need the last game as it was over in the 1st quarter.
