Both Seattle and SF have the injury bug and Arizona was a really good team at the end of last season.
Waking up before dawn? Maybe. Watching the Det/Atl game? Yes. It's mainly because I have little alternative when watching the NFL where I live other than to watch the Detroit games. It's rarely been a fun experience.
49ers get a very needed bye weekend this week and then play the Rams at home so things should be improving for them.

As a diehard long suffering Detroit Lions fan I am... And guess what? Matt Prater booted his second chance through the uprights as time expired and the Lions came away with a 22-21 victory over the Falcons in an incredible comeback at Wembley Stadium in London.

So the Jets GM holds a press conference and it's diarrhea coming out of his mouth for 20 minutes. The Geno Smith project has failed there is nothing on the horizon. I can't see this team winning any of their remaining games and rebuilding for next year is expected. And how the fans have been fucked over the years. The move to the new stadium in 2010 pushed season ticket holders into the rafters to sell the lower levels with PSLs. Not only are you obligated to buy the season tickets there but also the pre-season games at the same fucking price as regular season! Those fans got sucked into thousands of dollars per PSL seat with payments spread over years.
Thousands of these seat PSLs are in the aftermarket for 1/4 - 1/2 their original prices and they ain't moving. Thousands more are being defaulted on future payments or just given up. And let's not forget the schmucks that paid full price for their upper deck season tickets. The Jets put their same sections up for sale at reduced prices at the gate late in past seasons. And let's not forget the $30 per game parking passes they get sucked into also. But hey, these owners are billionaires. They know how to sell shit in a can and convince people that it's caviar.

Bill Cowher went to a Super Bowl with Neil O'Donnell. Lovie Smith went to a Super Bowl with Rex Grossman. Brian Billick WON a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer, who I like on ESPN but who's widely considered to be the worst QB to actually win a Super Bowl.
Besides, Ryan is supposed to be a defensive genius. Why hasn't he built a strong defense that would keep the team in the game by keeping the opposing offense off the field?

Jets can stop the rush and sack. That is everything the team can do. 1 Int 5 FF with 2 recoveries. QBs have a passer rating of 113.5 against them. Do you know what QBs have passing ratings that high? Only Payton and Rodgers. They can't hold onto the ball, can't return it.
Geno Smith has the most startling stats. YPG, Rating, Completion %, and Yards per completion he is rated 33rd. There are only 32 teams. Rex may have been forced to stick with him but that's not the only thing wrong with this team. What are they doing during the week? Do they look great in practice to keep the same routine for game time? The fans should protest in an original way. Tailgate in the parking lot during the game and not enter the stadium.
When Vick came in he looked just as bad. Has any team had a combined worse group of QBs the last six or seven years than the Jets have? Maybe Arizona for a few years, but the Jets have not even leaped over them in ineptitude at the position they had a few years go. It's like every QB the Jets throw out there is not only horrible, but they end up being arguably the worst starter in the league.
