I've said it a dozen times already on these forums: the Left is not going to just sit still and allow the Right to get away with its "brand" of politicking and lobbying...and "peaceful" assembly...whether it's waving Confederate flags while driving down city streets in a Progressive part of town, or aiming pistols and rifles at BLM marchers...just because it is perceived as the peacemakers. These are the birth pangs of a Civil War. And it's happening in the midst of a pandemic and a presidential election, both of which themselves have polarized this country in a way I have not seen since the early Seventies during the Vietnam War and continuation of the civil rights movement. Trump is nervously holding onto his base even as his poll numbers continue to weaken. A Biden presidency is not going to stop the spread of COVID-19, neither will it bring a happy end to sociopolitical extremism and division. What it WILL do is put an administration in command that no longer provides a figurehead for those groups who have consistently proven their cancerous level of hate.
