I like Andre , he's a great guy but he doesn't bring much to the team so if he has been scratched I don't mind at all .
i'd have to disagree with that. in the last 3 games without him, Tampa's hits have been much lower than they were with him. and sure Tarnasky, Gratton, O'Brien and even Lecavalier can fight, but Roy is the toughest among them and they need that
I hope Crosby and Ovechkin are players like Andre Roy.

I know all that but what you need to do is ask yourself a question : does he make them win ? I think it's pretty obvious that he doesn't , they won 6 of their last 7 games on the road and he wasn't a factor whatsoever . Andre is the type of player that is not a burden on a team but he is not one the important players either .

I have seen the video on youtube and all I have to say is that he was pretty lucky to survive that cut , he could have died right there and then . I'm really happy that he is ok , you never want to see a player get hurt and in freak accident like that .

i heard Vinnie Prospal's contract runs out at the end of this year. they'd better re-sign him! :eek:
I hope they do re-sign him but sadly they might not be able to if they want to re-sign Dan Boyle this year and Vinny Lecavalier long-term next year . Prospal is probably going to be worth at least 3 million , maybe a little more because a player like Fedotenko who is having a horrible year again with the Islanders has a 2.95 million sallary this year and Prospal is clearly much better than him . The good news is the team has finally been sold to someone willing to put some $$ in it and that's probably going to help re-sign more players . We'll have to wait and see .
