It's nice to see at this point she went out and got both medical degree and doctorate in epidemiology. Also the effort where she went through a long controlled blind scientific peer reviewed in depth study to confirm things was pretty awesome too. Good on her.This ruffled a few tail feathers.

Five+ years of Trumpism has made the republican base even more ignorant and naive, but Republicans want their base to stay ignorant and misinformed so that they can be more easily manipulated. The Republican base in the 1950's had more common sense. If there was an outbreak of a new strain of polio this year, and a vaccine was available, most republicans would probably refuse the vaccine and get infected.

Perhaps I was too hard on Minaj. You have to admit that there are probably quite a few people out there that go, "Wait a minute. So this thing will not only make me infertile so I never have to worry about childeren, but cause me to have gigantic balls on top of that. Hell yes, sign me up." Maybe it's some secret plot by her to cause people to go get the vaccine.

I love how they have to warn at the end "don't intentionally get infected by COVID" in order to get immunity. I could totally see the next wave of conspiracy idiots touting this as the next big "cure".
Having worked in restaurants to get me through school, this really pisses me off.
You can disagree with vaccination, and there might be some tolerance for people who vocalize it. But kind of person crosses the line to assault? That restaurant better fund the poor hostesses' civil suit against those pricks.

It’s a shame restaurant and bar employees will have to deal with human garbage like this. I hope the people responsible are arrested and prosecuted. Also hope the hostess is cared for and made whole in Civil Court.
