My Dad turned me on to the rivalry....it was fun. Claude Lemieux, Patty Roy, even Sakic. Wings and the Avs were the teams 10-15 years ago, We aspire to be like the Wings today...
in the 1990's detroit-colorado was awsome everytime they played ...also watching lindros and leclaire at the spectrum tand he corestates center in person was great entertainment unfortunately no cup..

What the fuck, man! I've only been able to watch two Blackhawks games this year because it's not broadcasted in my area. I'm two fucking hours away from Chicago. However, I can watch Sharks @ Bruins, Devils @ Penguins, Sabres @ Lightning, Red Wings @ Capitals, Hurricanes @ Jets, or Blue Jackets @ Senators. I don't fucking care about those teams. Seriously, what is that about? I was able to catch nearly all the games last year on CSN Chicago. They're showing Crew @ Fire tonight. Really? Does anybody on the fucking planet watch MLS? No. The schedule says the Hawks are on WGN tonight, but I get the national feed so it's America's Funniest Home Videos instead.
This is really pissing me off. If I can't watch the game tonight, I guess I'll just have to roam the streets and drop kick babies. Fucking bullshit.

All right. So I found the game on the Altitude Channel. :wtf: It's an Avalanche channel which means no Eddie Olczyk and Pat Foley, but I guess it will do.
When I checked earlier, DirecTV told me that I didn't subscribe to that channel and thus couldn't watch it. Why it works now is beyond me... but I'm happy.

My Blue Jackets are not good. Mason gave up 2 goals in the last 36 seconds to lose 4-3.
And only 9K people come out to watch them every game. I watch the boxscores every game. I think Columbus is one of the next franchises to move. :2 cents:
It was in Ottawa. The City and County just announced a deal to buy Nationwide Arena last week. Jacket's will pay no rent....so they signed to stay on until at least 2035.

Canucks traded Mikael Samuelsson and Marco Sturm to the Panthers for David Booth, Steve Reinprecht and a third-round pick in 2013.
Amazingly awesome trade for the Canucks. A line with Kesler at center and Booth on left wing will be one of the best second lines in the league period. Vancouver always manages to rob the Panthers when it comes to trades. I love it, although I hope Tallon has a plan for the Panthers because they are a team I don't want to see moved.
