Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Surprised the Bruins won in Chicago last night. 'Hawks were flying up and down the ice. Great game to watch

Thomas just put up walls around them again, and Seguin made up in the shootout with what he missed on his breakaway in overtime.

They didn't do too good against the Wild, and the Wild aren't that good.

(I was hoping rod would opine on the game)

They're young. They need to develop. But with the stockpiling of talent that they've been doing and the veteran presence of Ryan Smyth, they are destined to win a Cup within the next five years or so. The Penguins and Blackhawks did the EXACT same thing and they both won a Cup and are now perennial contenders, so that's what's in store for the Oilers. The Wild game was the second game of the season and they recorded a point in a shootout loss, so it's not a big deal.

P.S. Hat trick for The Nuge!!! That was incredible!

I'm so horny, even the crack of dawn isn't safe
Wings are 4-0 with a win in OT against the Wild (mild)

The (new) Winnipeg Jets get their first ever win. Woohoooo!

:partysml:

The MTS Centre does sorta look like a little shit though:

Does anyone know what happened to the Moose? I don't see them in the AHL league standings anywhere.

They moved to St. John's and are called the IceCaps now.

Horrible name, considering it is the name of a fucking Tim Hortons drink. No worries, though. Give the team a few years and they'll relocate, just like every other team Newfoundland has ever had.

That's bullshit. The Wild should have been the 'Moose,' but the timing was entirely off. I loved going to the Moose games at the Civic Center back in the day, even though we only had them for two years. Stephan Moran was the best player in the league though. He was so good.

I was doing a little reading today from one of my State history books and realized the Wild should have been the 'Miners,' since the state not long ago produced more ore than any other place on the planet. It never occurred how slick a name that is. Although, I see there are other minor league teams with that name. Another name that came to mind was "Millers" or "Mill City". We also produced more wheat than any other place on the planet back in the day.

Ohhh, I digress. Hopefully you get your AHL franchise in the near future, PT2. Sounds like Saskatoon would support one.

rod, do you still find those Jets jerseys as offensive as you did? I don't mind them at all. Again, maybe it's because I have to deal with looking at the Wild sweaters the rest of my life, but whatever. Heck I might even get a Jets sweater at the right price. Byfuglien is still the shit. Roseau hockey really does know how to produce them players, although his dad was a college football player, so...

We used to always go up to Roseau and Warroad once a year to play those fuckers and we hated them. Great hockey players for sure. Great youth system.

I still believe those are some of the worst jerseys of all time. They don't take the top spot, but I certainly think they're in the top ten. They're bland, the logo is boring, the colours are unoriginal and drab. They should have done way better if they wanted to pay tribute to the Royal Canadian Air Force.

At the very least they are better than Vancouver jerseys. Probably better than Flames jerseys as well, eh? I'm telling you, those sweaters aren't that awful.

But I wanted to ask you, since you are pretty much my go-to guy here on NHL talk, which team do you think will win the Northwest Division Conference? Seems we're all in a toss up right now.

I also wanted to asked you why Edmonton has such a hatred to Dany Heatley? Why didn't he wan't to go to Edmonton and why did he have no broblem with Minnesota? Did you want him as a player on your squad?

Enlightenmen, brah. :dunno:

Canucks are going to win the division. Six games into the season and everyone is in a group? Doesn't mean much. The Canucks are the only team in the northwest that id a guarenteed playoff team....

Get rid of Luongo. I've watched 3 games now and it's become a question of Luuuu v. Buuuuuuuuu.

You know you'd (and Canada) have a Cup if you woud''ve had Miller last year. :yesyes:

Luongo has a whole nation on his shoudlers. Bring in an outsider (like Miller) and you will secure the rightful place of the Stanley Cup Final, you pussies( where it belongs). The Stanley Cup belongs ins Canada, and you pussies disgust me every year you let it come to America. It does not belong in America, it belongs ins CANADA. Get it right. Your GMs, your coaches, your players - get is right. :hatsoff:
