Watched the Raiders against the Falcons. Derek Carr is a f'n gunslinger. He's going to be one of the elite QBs in the coming years. And he's got Amari Cooper to throw to.

That last TD pass of his - he's throwing on the run, across his body, side-arm, throws a rope through several defenders and hits whats-his-face in the end zone.

gunslinger.

A lot of Cam hate on this thread. Every one of you would take him on your team.

The Patriots are now 3-0 and their last game before Tom Brady's suspension is over is the Bills at home. Un-fucking-believable.

I'm not a Patriots fan, but I would be lying if I said there wasn't a part of me that hopes they win the Superbowl this year just to badly stick it to Goodell. I'd put Brady out there alone to accept the trophy if I had to just to force Goodell to hand it over to him while the world watches.

I have Aaron Hernandez on my fantasy bench. When can I expect some productivity?

I was watching the Pitt/Philly game and not only don't the Eagles look like a disorganized mess, they actually look good. It's kind of weird. I'm not one to jump on a rookie bandwagon either but Wentz doesn't look like a rookie at this point already. Not only does he move around the pocket well and have accuracy, but his decisions have been smart so far. It's a pretty good sign for the team.

lol, I dodged a bullet today, picking the feminine sharks to defeat Cleveland in my Survivor Pool. Tannehill is terrible.

I'm not enjoying this football season as much as I did last football season.

While having financial stability and being out of cap trouble is good for a team somebody forgot to tell Carolina that the savings has to be put to good use for that to work. Cap space doesn't cover elite receivers or block for the QB. Right now Carolina's secondary is a mess, even if letting Norman go was the right decision, and the team's offensive line is bad. It doesn't help that along with getting crushed a lot this year as it is Newton is also making dumb decisions that has him taking way too many hits this year on top of that.

I am not enjoying the season not just because the Panthers are struggling, but because a few players have turned the beginning of every game into a Black Lives Matter protest .

Ratings are down. It seems that others feel the same way.

As the first quarter of the season ends, my predictions are on track, except for the Titans. I really thought they'd take a step, with a good running game. Never see 'em play, but the offense #'s stink of shit. Hey, btw, can you think of a Titans stud receiver...ever? If you go back to Houston, maybe, Ernie Givins, but fuck, that's weird.

That's Mularkey's "Exotic Smashmouth" (read: smashmouth) for you. I've watched a couple of their games on Game Pass (which I got to follow the Titans this season) and to say Mariota is not flourishing in this scheme is an understatement.

Yeah, I can't think of a true #1 receiver the Titans have had even going back to the Houston Oilers of Ernest Givins. Haywood Jeffires? no.

I'm watching Matt Ryan and Julio Jones (a #1 receiver) light it up every week in the Falcons' Exotic Scoreboard offense as in they score a shitload of points and through the air.

I'll take that, thank you.

Yeah, I'm a 'Skins fan, and I appreciate what the Shanahans did (except maybe hanging on to Haslett for too long). They're occasionally embarrassing now, but not so shitty-fucking-irrelevant as they were before Mike got there. I grew up on Gibbs, so it's been lean. It's fun to see what Ryan and Jones can do in an offense that exploits their strengths.
