TRAINING CAMP STARTS THIS MONTH!!!!!! WOOOO!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!!

I miss football.

I won't have it said that I don't contribute anything substantive. Therefore, some possible points of discussion:

Andrew Luck is now the highest paid player in league history.

Von Miller and the Denver Broncos have until July 15th to work out a long term deal. If no deal is reached, there is a case to be made that Miller is better off sitting out the 2016 season and attempting to move to another team next year. This article goes into more detail: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...l-von-miller-holdout-has-an-intriguing-twist/

As I type this, there is a thread on the forum about the Rams and their move to Los Angeles which is getting decent traffic. I guess this thread wasn't good enough for them. Don't know what's wrong with this thread. Well, I don't NEED any of them in this thread. They'd probably ruin it anyway. I'm fine in here all by myself.

It's not there is no interest, there just isn't anything to talk about. Honestly, the NFL gets talked about so much that a break is nice.

Tom Brady's request for a rehearing has been denied by the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals meaning the US Supreme Court is now his only hope for avoiding suspension. Looking likely the Pats will be without Brady for the first four games this season.

And Von Miller still has not signed a long-term deal. Friday is the deadline.

Madden 17 is released on Aug. 23rd.

I'm taking over as the owner of the Jags and moving them to London.

The London Jaguars has a certain ring to it.

I'm about a month late, but 140 million dollars is a lot of money to give a turnover prone QB with one great season under his belt. I hope Luck can live up to expectations now that he got the big deal he was looking for. I've never seen him as anything other than above average. Not an elite QB in my opinion.

Time to see some results on the field.

I hate the idea of the Raiders coming here to Vegas. But it will afford me more opportunity to get into fistfights with idiots. Gotta go out and by some Chiefs gear. No jerseys though. I stopped wearing jerseys when I stopped playing after college. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing some 300 pound shitbag wearing a Seahawks #3 or whatever number Tom Brady wears. Like those stupid fat fucks could do a five step drop or scramble ten yards without having a motherfucking vapor lock. And if the fucking Raiders do move here I hope the fucking billionaires who own that team build their own fucking stadium without taxpayer money. Like that cock chugger Jerry Jones couldn't have built a great stadium without putting a greater burden on the people. One of the few things with which I agree with Richard Sherman (the other being the uselessness of the #BlackLivesMatter movement). And although I love four fucking full months of football, the idea of adding extra games to the schedule seems batshit crazy. These guys wear themselves out and risk serious injury enough. Speaking of injury, with all the bullshit changes to how contact can be made I'm surprised it has remained as competitive as it has and that in the end having players half-ass a tackle will result in more injuries for defensive players.

He sort of reminds me of another Brett Favre...except while slightly more disciplined he doesn't quite have the athletic talent and arm to get himself out of trouble as much as he can get into it as much as prime Favre, and without the durability. Now one sure can do a lot worse than Favre did for his career, but it also don't take much to go from that to disaster. That goes even more so since I don't have faith that the Indy front office and coaching staff can put a top to bottom good team around him, and that was even before he took as much of a cap his as he's going to.
