Surprised to see all those backs taken before Lacy. People must think he's a product of 'Bama's line, but he had better numbers than Richardson, I believe.

Nobody from Michigan, Nebraska or Miami (FL) drafted yet.

SEC has provided over a 3rd of the picks thus far.

Washington has doen nothing to protect RG3.

NFC West is going to be a bloodbath. St Louis may not be there this year, but they're not that far behind. They had a great draft. Arizona is going to have Mathieau and Patterson running around the field picking balls off. Their D will be legit, if it wasn't already.

Well they're fucking dumbasses, the dude is a stud. NFL defenses will have trouble with that train running through ,beast. Fucking love this pick by the Pack, what a steal. :D

The position of runningback has become one of the least value positions on the team in the modern NFL. I wouldn't take one in today's NFL in the first two rounds, and if I did it would be because they were a significant passing threat and great in picking up people for QB protection.

if carolina stays at 14, i'm hoping for sheldon richardson, defensive tackle out of missouri (dream scenario is sharrif floyd or star lotulelei falling to them though that is not likely). Then, in second round, take best available wr/cb/s. It will be fun.

whooo!!!

Eddie Lacy drooped due to health issues that are still affecting him.

RB is no longer the elite position it's now WR and with the current rules that will be true for awhile

if your line can pass block well you can run from that you no longer need to have an AP in the backfield to win, you need a guy who can pass protect and catch as well as run

Yes its is a passing league these days but the Packers didn't even have a RB that could run block. I know a second for him was pretty high but it was a need.

One of those draft years where so many QBs were taken in later rounds, at least a couple will succeed, and then all the idiot analysts will be comparing them to Tom Brady.

I love the description by an unnamed highly regarded NFL head coach in a Yahoo article of the NY Jets drafting Geno Smith: "That place is a clusterfuck."

i agree the packers need RB's thats why they drafted a second one later form UCLA.

SFW i've nicked named the JETS as team toxic.

The Packers biggest problem with running the ball is that the offensive line just isn't good at it, and hasn't been for years. They also have the problem that they are beginning to not be good at pass blocking either.

oh yeah the pack o-line is bad and they better fix it considering all the money they just gave Aaron Rodgers

Tim Tebow was released by the Jets today

The line has been very bad as well. I've noticed that Rodgers has been pressured and forced out of the pocket more regularly than in years past. He hasn't had the time to throw. I also hate having to pay him that much money but what are ya gonna do?, thats what they're paying these jackoffs these days.

those pundits are crazy bloodshot scott you can't rate a class for 3-5 years usually
yeah paying rodgers all that money could be bad but they set it up to be as cap friendly as possible
