so yeah, I'm going to call it now... Tom Brady gets a serious injury during the season... Everything that has been going wrong for the patriots has gone wrong except for losing tom

I wouldn't mind that. Additionally, I think the injury should be sustained in a non-football, comically unfortunate way like he slips in the shower while shaving his legs.

The Bears new, younger, and more aggressive defense is going to have a field day on Green Bay's depleted O-line this year. Everybody seems to be sleeping on Chicago in the NFC North.

I think the problem with the bears is that every year there are always high expectations for them.. Like, last year I predicted the super bowl for them, but usually it's at least a wild card spot people predict for them. Every year though something seems to go wrong and they just collapse by the end of the season. I think they are definitely competition for the packers, but until the offensive line and another receiver besides Marshall steps up, I can't put to much expectation into them... I'm a fan of cutler's though and I hope the addition of Bennett can finally give him that tight end target ever since greg olsen left.

I always view the Bears as a threat to the Pack whether they underachieve or not. The key for them is keeping Cutler healthy but they can never seem to do that because of their poor O-line, not sure if they've addressed that or not. Even still imo if Cutlers healthy they're a threat in the North.

Packers O-Line willdef be better this year and the Bama running back gives them more versatility.

There are few teams that constantly underperform expectations year in and year out like the Bears do. Ironically when they do good it's as often as not when it's not expected of them.

so Dennis Pitta is going to be out for the entire year... we're fucked... the ravens are about to sign Visanthe Shiancoe, but that won't do shit to help us.. Ed Dickson can be decent as our starting tight end, but he's no Pitta... I do have a feeling they might resign Vonta Leach and that would allow Kyle Juszczyk to line up where Pitta would have on passing plays.. Ozzie Newsome is about to make some crazy trade for a receiver... at least I hope so

Wow, another good player injured already. :(

I've never seen an offseason with so many PED suspensions and season ending injuries before.. already setting up to be a bizarre year

Well you can add Jeremy Maclin to that list, hes torn his ACL and I heard its really bad. If its the same one he tore in college hes in big trouble. To make matters worse for him hes in a contract year, hes going to lose a lot of money. Eagles were already screwed but now they're truly fucked. Thats a really bad deal for them and a bad way for the Chip Kelly era to start.

Jeff Saturday has nothing left in the tank. It doesn't matter anyway, every O-lineman could go down and Denver would be fine as long as Peyton Manning is QB. The Broncos will be able to hold and chop block all they want with no flags thrown, the league has to protect its golden boy. I fucking hate the Broncos with a passion.

Lions win! Nothing new. Lions win a preseason game, Sanchez throws a pick 6, and Stafford only throws to Johnson. Long year ahead.

How about Havard Rugland (kickalicious) with the 49 and 50 yard field goals! Akers is going to win the kicker spot just because he's Akers, but some team is going to sign havard when/if the lions cut him

Oh and did you guys hear Rex Ryan didn't even realize Sanchez threw the pick 6?? Oh god, what a train wreck of a team

Sanchez could be a solid backup qb, maybe like a kyle orton (who was practically ran out of denver because of tebow), he just needs to get out of new york. Just like how the jets need to rid themselves of sanchez. I know they have a ton of guaranteed money in him, but they should really do him and themselves a favor and just cut him. It gives sanchez a second chance not in the spotlight where he will constantly get ripped and it gives the jets one less joke... of course this is the jets we are talking about and they are one of the most poorly ran franchises in nfl history so they'll probably start him week one
