.... what the fuck.... Ellerbe, the guy who was suppose to replace Ray Lewis just signed with the dolphins... Don't get me wrong, ellerbe wasn't great, but would have been great to resign him

Ravens are losing everybody? What's your take rd16? Lewis, Boldin, Kruger, Ellerbe, possibly Reed.

Lewis I'm okay with, he was falling hard.. Kruger's overrated.. Ellerbe kind of pisses me off... We have about 16 million now, Reed's gonna be resigned.. and I don't even want to talk about Boldin.. just... no :brick:

That's the price they pay for giving Flacco that fat contract.

the thing is Flacco only counts for 6.8 million against the cap this year.. it really isn't even that.. they just hate to pay big money to people.. I mean, I was freaking out last year about how they didn't pay anyone and look what happened...

Ellerbe is getting a 5 year 35 million dollar deal?!?!?! What the hell is wrong with the dolphins? I like the guy, but that is way to much, that's like top 5 middle linebacker money, he is not worth that.. Okay, I'm fine with him leaving

nobody is going to talk about this... but the Chiefs signed Chase Daniel to back up Alex Smith, I really like that signing... With Andy Reid he'll look like the second coming of Drew Brees, the chiefs will trade him for a ton of money and he'll pull a AJ Feely/Kevin Kolb and perform like shit for whatever team he goes too... The man's a genius

Jared Cook going to the rams, now that is a pretty good signing.. Finally gives Bradford a pretty solid target, but I still think they need to resign Amendola

Well Chase may have a chance to really play, with Smith having a concussion already. Look how that turned out. I (as a Saints fan) hate to see Chase go, and wonder who will be our #2 guy. Drew hasn't really had any problems besides the shoulder thing in San Diego, but he isn't getting any younger either. On a side note, I believe if Wes Welker stays with New England he is stupid. He needs to get his money regardless of the team. When was the last time they won a Superbowl? Better yet, Tom Brady has 3 rings but how many they lost even in the playoffs? All good things come to an end.
:2 cents:

Yeah, chase is gonna have his chance within the next 2 years, no doubt. I know you guys can't spend a lot for a backup qb, but he has some good potential. And I agree with you completely with welker, but I just don't know who would give him big bucks... But, I do think he needs to put himself out there and at least see what he can get, maybe a team like the Browns overpay him

and as soon as I type that, 5 minutes later it's reported Welker is going to test free agency... I need to be on espn... hahaha

They won't spend the money for him is the talk in St Louis. He's supposed to be looking for 5 years, $30 million. If someone offers that to him, it won't be the Rams I can assure you of that. I love him and hate to see him go but we can't afford him with his history of injuries and all the other needs we have. Good luck, Danny, you're a helluva player.

On the other hand, I love the Cook signing. With Kendricks coming on toward the end of last season, we now have a dual matchup nightmare for opposing DCs. Now we need to address RB, LT, both safety positions and, if Brian Quick isn't the guy (I'm not sure if he is or he isn't), a legitimate WR other than Chris Givens (assuming Brandon Gibson is gone).

yeah, that is a lot of money, but I just feel like he was such a huge target for Bradford when the two were able to be on the field (which wasn't too often).. He's probably gone..
I think Givens could be a sneaky guy for the rams (sort of a brian hartline) so he could step up big, I'm not so sure about Quick though... I fully expect you guys to draft a wide receiver at some point in the draft, but there are a few guys I think you guys should go after in free agency: Darrius Heyward-Bey, Kevin Walter, Steve Breaston, and maybe even Austin Collie if he's healthy. I just think you need to sign someone else at wr...

I love the signing of Jake Long, how about the Long Brother playing together??? That's pretty cool right there.

All of Baltimore was shocked by Bernard Pollard being cut, but I've been thinking about it and I'm okay with it... He's getting old, he must have gotten at least 5 personal foul penalties in the playoffs, and he really isn't that good of a cover safety.. That being said, I still wish we kept him, but I understand why he's gone.

I will miss hits like this though:
