History tells me Chip Kelly won't fare too well, he will be fired or quit within 3 years and will take a top notch College gig like Nick Saban.

Hmmm, last year I picked the 49ers to lose to the Packers in the NFC title game and the Ravens to lose to the Pats. Slightly off. . . I'll be back, go Pack 2013!

As long as the New England Patriots don't make it to next years Super Bowl I'll be happy! I don't want to see the New York Giants either. Hopefully some teams that haven't won the Super Bowl in a long time.

Vick back in Philly. He seems encouraged with Kelly's offense.

Super Bowl in New York this coming year, no? Giants will be looking to win at home!

Anybody ever been to the draft? Me and a friend are looking to go, depending on prices. Should be fun.

I've been working in Manhattan by Radio City the last couple of years it has been held there.

All you see in the city is people walking around in their favorite teams' jersey.

People lined up for blocks to get in around Radio City.

Is the Draft still a couple of days?

yes the draft will go 3 or 4 days last year they did round one thursday round 2-3 friday and rounds 4-7 sat
Chip Kellys offense requires players the Eagles do not have yet but he can succeed if he modified it a little to deal with the NFL speed
the 49ers path is going to be much harder next year as they play a 1st place schedule and the Rams and Seahawks are both getting better

Oregon ran the spread option, no huddle, extreme hurry up under Kelly.

The Niners used the read option play (which is a staple of the spread option) to great effect with Kaepernick.

Vick even past his prime still has the wheels and a cannon arm and may be the perfect fit for this offense.
Then there's DeSean Jackson.

I'm intrigued.

I don't think it can get much more difficult than last year.

Chiefs give up two second rounders for Alex Smith? lmao what a dumb arse franchise, fucking dumb.

I thought it was a 2nd this year and a 4th next year.

I think its a win for both teams. This allows KC to develop a qb and get an o line while still putting them in a position to move up the standings. Smith can hit the short intermediate passes Reid likes and will allow Charles room to run.

I wonder if San Fran uses some of their 11 picks in this draft to get Revis.

I'm sorry but the Niners were the sole winners on that deal. They are set up for the future in every way possible.

I hate to say it but draft pics are overrated. As hard as it is to hit on them and as many of even the high ones fail, giving up a second round pick for somebody that at least seems to have a good chance of being a decent QB for a team that was terrible at the position before isn't that bad of a choice. With the exception of a few people each year draft picks are better for stockpiling decent prospects than getting the next big star. Even if Alex Smith is mediocre that will still be a huge increase in performance than what they have had recently, and it will get them time to get a QB of the future for the long term into place in the next few years. If Alex Smith reverts to being terrible,...well it will sting losing that 2nd round pick, but it won't exactly be the end of the world and the damage from it will be relatively short lived, and Kansas City would have sucked without him anyhow.
