Why does this billion dollar stadium look exactly like the previous piece of shit in Irving?

I'm not impressed, Jerry.

Mark my words....the Cowboys will never be champions as long as:

1) Tony Romo is their QB (most over-hyped, overrated talent in the history of the NFL perhaps)

2) Wade Phillips is their coach

If Jerry REALLY wants to win, instead of building billion dollar stadiums he'd spend the money on a QB who can make plays when it counts and a coach who knows how to inspire his players to win. Right now, they have neither.

Cowboys LOSE....have a safe drive home folks. :weeping:

Nope. Didn't show the game where I live. But I do wonder about The Great One, Mr. Brady. What really does he have to play for, anyway? He's got the rings, the girl, the money...:dunno: Seriously. In the grande scheme of his life at this point..is he really going to be crying about losing a game to the Jets?

He gets to go home and snuggle next to this...-->

I listened a bit to his post-game press conference and I swear I thought he was going to break out in a yawn as he talked about "cleaning things up" "fixin' mistakes" "didn't play very well"...

Having Jerry Jones as their owner and who feels the need to but into personnel decisions when he doesn't know what he's doing doesn't help either. He's not at Al Davis territory yet, but he's getting there.

My buddy bought the NFL RedZone and I do have to saw it's the best thing out there. 7 hours of nothing but football. We got to see each and every TD that was done this week, it's great for fantasy owners as well.

But at least at one point Al Davis knew a little something about the game.

I love the NFL Redzone as well. The Redskins dodged major embaressment this week but look out we play the Lions next and our offense is putrid. 4 times inside the 10,results in 3 Field goals and turning it over on downs. Jim Zorn needs someone else to call plays and soon

If you've got Redzone and the Superfan package from DirecTV, you can also get their Supercast feature for free on your computer. Now you can watch every NFL game streamed live on your computer in real time. I used it for the first time this weekend....awesome. Check it out at DTV's website.

Here's a demo:

Good game so far with Colts-Dolphins. Should be right down to the wire although Manning usually finds a way to win these kind of games.

Side note....I didn't catch the game last week so this is my first look at Jon Gruden in the broadcast booth. WOW....he's great!! I'm very impressed. His enthusiasm and observations are terrific....he's easily the best new broadcast talent so far this year. I like him....a lot.

Might Chuckie possible go the John Madden route and sit up in the booth making megabucks on TV for the next 30 years instead of retuning to the coaching ranks? Sounds like a good deal to me if he can get it.

Any comments one way or the other? I'd be very interested to see what the consensus is on him so far.

I didn't grow up playing this game so take all my ramblings on it as nothing more than those of a passionate ignoramus............I thought my Bengals - with the exception of Carson Palmer - more than deserved the win. A win against the Steelers might be a bit too much to ask for but at least we ahve the potential to give tham a good game. As much as I would like it to be true, it is still a bit early to be wondering if the Pats are 'over.'

I don't have any fancy NFL viewing package and just watch the usual cable outlets. The continued jokey shouty locker room analysis does get old and any break from it is welcome. Why do the networks think that this is the only way to talk about football on Sunday? That is why I am disappointed when I watch Tony Dungy. As a coach, and even more so as a man, I have the upmost respect for him and his opinions but he is patently not cut out to be a talking head on the kind of show they have him on at present.

I agree I really like Gruden in the booth, hopefully he won't get the Mr. Obivious complex that Madden got towards the end of his TV years.

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
Gruden is smart, articulate and knows football. He and Jawarski are fun to listen to. Tirico to me seems so tight that, although he does a technically fine job, he comes across like a corporate shill. Maybe it is me, but I usually don't like Tirico called games.

I would be nice to get Jaws and Chuckie to call a game together

When it come to NBA games I agree.
