I wouldn't count on it.
What's really sad is if you count the money that Carolina had to pay Delhomme to buy out the remainder of his guaranteed money on his contract and what Cleveland is going to pay him he might be the highest paid player in the league next year. I bet his agent jumping for joy at being able to pull a feat like that off.
At least Holmgren trusts Seneca Wallace to run his offense, while they groom a QB. Most likely Tony Pike.
They have a pretty big gimmick called the most potent offense in the League. I kinda think they'll be around for awhile since the NFL is basically a league which passes to set up the run. :dunno:
Nobody remembers who loses Super Bowls. People remember who wins them. I think the Saints are still the best in the NFC. Brett Favre is a finally shot. Minny is going to crash hard this coming season. Green Bay is on the rise. The 9ers might be a threat. The Cowboys will probably win their first 10 before losing all their remaining games and missing the playoffs fabulously.
The Saints are going to be back in the NFC Championship game...no doubt about it.:wave2:
