Yeah, it was a strange night. Sox gave up runs early and didn't come back, and Cubs won 10-0 in Milwaukee with a near-no-hitter from Dempster. Black is up, white is left, I'm wearing shoes on my hands and typing with my toes....
It was clearly a hit against Johan. Put an asterisk next to his achievement because it was NOT a no hitter.
If I'm Kenny Williams I'm calling up the Cubs and asking them what they want for either Dempster or Garza. The White Sox need another arm in the rotation. I'd rather have Garza because he's younger and he's pitched in the AL but the problem is though I'm not sure what we could offer the Cubs because we don't have a strong farm system
Yeah, I came in from my smoke and saw that Cain was 1 out away. Managed to catch the last AB. Well done by him.

Thanks, Pujols had 4 hits with 2 doubles against my Jays tonight, that bastard. The Jays loaded the the bases with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th but Encarnation grounded into a double play, that bastard. I don't mean that Edwin, you're cool. With the loss the Jays are back to a .500 record. Those bastards. Hmmmm... I don't mean that, I love you guys. Shout out to Jays Jeff Mathis going 4 for 4 with a double and a homer!
It'll be interesting to see how Alvarez makes out in his next start. They don't need another pitcher to go down.

C - Joe Mauer (MIN) (although A.J. Pierzynski (CHW) would be a good pick as well)
1B - Billy Butler (KC) (you could argue that both Prince Fielder (DET) and Paul Konerko (CHW) are more deserving, but Kansas City is hosting and Butler is arguably as deserving, so I'd like to see him start for the AL)
2B - Robinson Cano (NYY) (he's winning the Triple Crown of AL second basemen right now)
3B - Adrian Beltre (TEX) (both Mark Trumbo (LAA) and Miguel Cabrera (DET) killing it as well)
SS - Elvin Andrus (TEX) (I know everyone wants to see Derek Jeter (NYY), and they probably will because it's a popularity contest, but Andrus is the most deserving; kudos to Wetpussycatsinheat for going with Andrus as well)

Finally someone realizes Billy Butler's talent. The dude is a beast who can mash. Hes always been a consistent .300 hitter, hes still young and a lot of hits that were doubles in the past are now becoming homers. Hes the next Edgar Martinez. I can't wait until he becomes the player that he truly can be. Always been underrated.
