Sweep the Tribe! 5 in a row now!

I was always that kid who got the faulty bumper car. The one that hardly moved and could only turn one way. Stuck in a corner. Everyone else having their fun and occasionally charging into me, some making a point of specifically targeting my car.
Thing is, you don't realize you have the bad car until it's too late, and everyone started moving, so you've gotta ride it out and take the beating. Then go across the street, eat and drink heavily and wonder why you bother. You think "Fuck this! Never again.", but you know perfectly well you'll come back and try again...
It's gonna be a long summer.
This is how it feels to be a (sigh) Cubs fan.

I'll just take some time away from the carnival. It's way too embarassing.

How about my White Sox. I think they can contend for a playoff spot whether it's the division title or a wild card spot. Adam Dunn is hitting like the old Adam Dunn and Konerko is playing some of the best baseball of his career. If their starting pitching can hold up, particularly Peavy, I think they have a shot

Chris Sale isn't looking too shabby either now that hes in the rotation. If he keeps it up as well I think you have the best chance given that Detroit has been a disappointment. Also I just don't see the Indians holding up. They have some good players but face it they've been winning with smoke and mirrors.

the Tigers have been doomed by bad pitching and a very inconsistent offense.

the White Sox seem to be rolling right now and yeah having Dunn and Konerko hitting like this is great but don not sleep on A.J. or Dayan they have been providing so good offense as well.

The Indians are by no means out of it but they have the thinnest margin to work with.

the Cubs are 2 more losses from tying there worst streak which was 0-14 in 97

Well the Jays lost today 12-6 against Rangers...

I want to kidnap Yu Darvish and steal his blood, just so I can drink it and steal his pitching ability.

The Sox have a great chance as long as they keep up with what they're doing. They're definitely playing like it's their year.

White Sox at 9 in a row!

congrats to Johan Santana and the Mets.

now the Padres are the only team that has not thrown a no hitter.

good to see the White Sox playing well, funny they where considered at best the 4th place finisher at worst last place in the early season predictions

You know you have a terrible announcer when you'd almost rather see the team lose just so you don't have to hear the jerk yell his annoying catchphrases. Yes, I speak of 'the Hawk".
"Stwetch!...Stwetch!...You can put it on the booooard-Yes!...Yes!....He gone!....The good guys win...and this ballgame is ova!"
Just die already, Hawk.

Johan Santana throw a no hitter on Friday Night.
RA Dickey throws a shutout yesterday.

This may not be the Mets, year, but LETS GO METS!

White Sox really is the go-to team for when you want a Chicago baseball team who wins games!
They should be Chicago's only MLB team. Move the Cubs to the minor league.
