The Orioles and Blue Jays are holding the two AL wild card spots and are finishing up against teams in their own division as it should be.
Meanwhile,the team behind them,the Tigers have 3 inter league games against Atlanta.Are you kidding me?
What substance were the schedule makers sniffing when they came up with this?

I know it is about ratings but it is totally unfair that the LA/Chi series is all night games and twice the AL plays a night game and has to play the next afternoon.Totally screws up the bullpens.If a manager uses a bullpen guy in the night game then he is most likely not using him a few hours later in the afternoon game.It is only fair that La/Chi has to play some afternoon games as well.I'm sure the players would agree.
I hope whoever comes out of the Tor/Cle series kicks the crap out of the La/Chi winner in 4 straight and wins every game by 10 runs.Therefore,no one will watch.

Great series, happy Zobrist got MVP. He is such a great ballplayer. He won't even get close to the HOF, but is the kind of player that if you had 9 of you would contend every year.

I just found out that Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura and former Indians, Braves and Diamondbacks third baseman Andy Marte were both killed in separate car accidents in their native Dominican Republic yesterday.
