Second verse, same as the first. How's that go? Bullshit! How's that go? Bullshit!

I don't know who you are sir other than to see you have a shitload of posts here so I guess you are some sort of high llama here or something. Are you the official referee of this site? I'm "beat"? By this guy? In what fashion?

Please elaborate. Was really ready to move on anyway but now you have my curiosity up. Serious questions by the way and no disrespect intended. Sorry if I'm making noob mistakes but just trying to figure out the power structure here. Weird board but sort of interesting. The Scrub fan guy was easy to push over the edge for obvious reasons so I won't take him as typical. Or should I? Please advise oh wise one.

It's simple, really. I find that Andronicus has made you look pretty foolish. Your responses are reminiscent of a middle-school bully trying to save face.

But, this is merely my opinion. You're free to do whatever the heck you want. Obviously I'm no referee, and I have no "power" here. Feel free to neg rep me, say terrible things about me, or whatever makes you feel good. By the morning, I'll have to look back at this post to remember what you said. I find, as a general policy, it's likely a good idea to establish yourself as a member who posts well, who isn't an idiot, prior to taking someone experienced on.

But, I'm an idiot, so you should likely ignore me.

Also,

He's the Cubbie fan, immediately resorted to namecalling when trading barbs with me and I'm the one who looks foolish? Yeah, ok bud. I'm not one to say terrible things or post bad rep about anyone so if you're trying to bait me into a war it ain't gonna work. No matter. As for "experience" on web boards, that dude ain't got nothing on me so I could really give a shit about his status here to be honest. If I don't have enough brownie points to say what I think without someone like Andro going ballistic on me and giving me bad rep then so be it.

Honestly though this thread has really served it's purpose as far as my involvement is concerned. Overserved it really.

Let's start over guys OK?? I'm sorry if I offended you andronicus. I was just being a Cardinal fan fucking with a Cub fan. I should have been more considerate of your feelings. I actually have friends who are Cub fans. Truce?
I do like the Stalin touch however.

First of all, you don't know me. Second... I have a daughter that's older than you by one year. So, don't lecture me on team loyalty. I was rooting for the Broncos before you were ever born. Yeah, that's right... 1968, when they were the laughing stock of football. Stayed with 'em all the way up until a month ago.

Baseball: St. Louis Cardinals. Followed them all my life.
Football: St. Louis Cardinals. Followed them all my life, until they moved to Phoenix.
Hockey: St; Louis Blues. Been following them since 1967/68.
Football: Denver Broncos. Since 1968
Hockey: Colorado Rockies. Followed them when they started, and stopped when they moved to New Jersey.
Hockey: Colorado Avalanche. Followed them from the beginning.
Baseball: Colorado Rockies. Had season tickets for the first three years of the franchise. Still follow them.

Change my allegiance? Pffft. And, I have NEVER changed teams every year to the "winning" team. I'm just super pissed and very disappointed with the Broncos. I could give a rat's ass what the Jets do this year. My only "allegiance" to them this year is hoping that Tebow has a great year and continues to improve.

I've never been a fair-weather fan. And, I've NEVER jumped on a bandwagon for other teams who have suddenly "won".

Oh yeah he also hates Everything but his penis, Guns, and of course penis guns........

I AM A WRIGLEYVILLE NATIVE, BORN AND BRED.

I lived up on the far end of the famed Waveland avenue.
My very first job was working at Wrigley field.
I am born into being a Cub fan.
24/7.
365 days a year.
What is said by a few doesn't matter.
Tell me and other Cub fans something we don't know.
One thing you must know is that we've heard it all.
In 2005, damn near everyone was a White Sox fan
Now, damn near everyone is a Cards fan.
It's cool. We don't hibernate.
It's good being a Cubs fan.
I would like to invite anyone who loves baseball.
Anyone wanting a classic baseball experience.
Come to Wrigley.
Even Cardinal fans hearts melt.
Go Cubs.
Go Bulls.
Go Bears.
Go 'Hawks.
Go Fire.

Now THAT'S a response that I can respect. I do admire loyalty and you sure have to have that to be a Cub fan. I also concur, nothing like a game a Wrigley Field. Long may it stand and long may the Cubs continue to lose!

I went to two games at Wrigley Field in 1995. First game, I sat on the first base side, near the dugout. A few days later I went to an afternoon game and sat in the right field bleachers. There was a drunkard (in his late twenties, early thirties) ragging on Larry Walker (Expos) every time walker took his position - four innings straight. It got so bad that Walker turned and looked up at the guy, shaking his head, as if thinking... what a douche. Most everyone around this clown was embarrassed.

The Cubs lost both games I went to, and to be honest, I wasn't impressed with Wrigley Field, nor the fans. They have this cocky attitude, yet they have never seen a winner. Fuck 'em! Two days later I went to a White Sox game. That was even worse. Saw a colored kid no older than nine years of age peeing on a light post on the sidewalk of a busy street, as if nothing was wrong with it at all. After the game, we went to a pizza place. I think it was called Connie's Pizza. It was good.

NHL: Detroit Redwings, duh. (as far back as the dead things era)
MLB: Detroit Tigers. ( I can remember the Bird and Kaline playing. Also, while some of you are fighting over Harry Carey, Ernie Harwell was the voice of summer.)
NFL: Dallas Cowboys. (since Staubach and Doomsday)
College sports: MSU Spartans. ( I can remember Gibby on a football field and Magic's no looks to Kelser)

AFC Ajax Amsterdam

San Francisco 49ers and Giants I'm glad I got to see both of them win a championship in my lifetime
Golden State Warriors still waiting for another playoff Cameo
Guadalajara Chivas 11x time Mexican League champs

San Francisco Giants

I have a lot of teams I follow and many that I do not care for but there are a handful that I love and a handful I completely despise over a variety of sports throughout the world. I am an avid sports nut, not so much as I had been in the past, but it's still lives inside me, that desire to see my team succeed.

MLB - 1.Montreal Expos; 8.L.A. Dodgers; 9.Toronto BlueJays

NFL - 4.Green Bay Packers; 5. Kansas City Chiefs; 10.New England Patriots

NBA - 6.Chicago Bulls; &. 7.L.A. Lakers

NHL - 2.Montreal Canadians; 3.Detroit Redwings

The Michigan Wolverines would be somewhere in there as well but I decided to stick with the major North American sports leagues of which I have followed most throughout my lifetime. :)
