Yes, we all have our crappy years... this has been a great year for Duke. If it had been an equally great year for UNC, I probably wouldn't be a happy Jinxypie today.
Coach K is the man, but that Roy Williams ain't half bad.

Like their chances to do damage. Temple and Purdue 5 and 4 seeds, ridiculous. Georgetown a 3, too high for a 10 loss team who lost about half their conference games. ND at 6, no sense. No problem with 1 seeds. Va Tech > Minnesota. I dont see the argument for Illinois and Mississippi State who had terrible home losses. Watch out for New Mexico, who had a case for the final 2 seed. All Mississippi NIT final, UM vs MSU.

Plus Duke has a favorable bracket. Why does Kansas have to struggle?
How the hell did ASU lose to Jacksonville? And how the hell are UNC even in the NIT? Oh, because theyre UNC.

Interesting choice with Baylor, Will. They have very quietly been absolutely awesome this year. Never being considered a basketball power (and being from fucking Waco), they don't get much press. However, they sure handed the over-rated and under-coached Texas team (Rick Barnes should be fired after what happened to that team this year) 2 serious ass-kickings in conference play and are a power to be reckoned with. I'd love to see it happen but don't think it will....certainly possible for sure.
I tend to agree with your final analysis as well. If they are clicking on all 8 cylinders, I think Kansas is the team to beat. I don't think anyone will be able to rise to the challenge.
My Elite 8 predictions:
Midwest: Kansas over Ohio State (this will be a great game!) Sorry, BI, your Bucks come up just short against the Jayhawks.
West: Syracuse over Kansas State (this will also be a great game) And see, BI, I didn't pick a Big 12 team! :1orglaugh
East: Kentucky over Missouri (Mizzou's "48 minutes of hell" style is too much for everyone except the Wildcats). Kentucky has the easiest road to the final four. They'll kill the Tigers.
South: Villanova over Duke (I would have picked Purdue if Hummel wasn't hurt.) Sorry Andronicus....that sucks for you BIG TIME. I feel your pain, brother!
In the final four, Kansas takes out Syracuse and Kentucky beats Villanova. Then, the Jayhawks win it all against Kentucky.

I got Kansas, Xavier, West Virginia, Duke. KU beats WVU for title. Major Upsets: Wofford beats Wisconsin in 1st Rd, FSU beats Syracuse in 2nd Rd, Xavier beats K State 3rd.

This could be one of the best NCAA Tournments in years so far two overtime games and a buzzer beater by Murray State to beat Vandy this could be great.:thumbsup:

They have not played yet hey play New Mexico State and they are a 5 seed and they have never lost in the first round as a 5 so they should be okay:thumbsup:
