way to go VCU. Shows the NCAA committee they got it all wrong. Destroyed my bracket but a Butler VCU matchup should be interesting.
No....I would go with either damn lucky AND unknowledgeable, or a damn liar....or a little of both! If anyone REALLY had Butler AND VCU coming out of the East....well there's just no "legitimate" way one would! Ha ha ha!
Could be. If you filled out a half dozen brackets, though, your chances increasingly go up. I used to fill out 2-4 brackets but I got fed up with all (what appeared to be) point shaving. If it wasn't for friends and "office pools," I honestly don't think I would even bother.
What's going on is that it's increasingly clear every year that it's futile to fill out brackets when you know your picks are going to be shat. Hell, even Jay Bilas, Dick Vitale and company at ESPN - the "experts" - picked a bunch of shit.
Anyone wanna bet there's MAJOR point shaving going on in this tournament? Betta believe it. :2 cents:

This is nuts....VCU and Butler in the Final 4? I fucking love it.
Taking nothing away from the Rams but Kansas played like shit today. They couldn't hit a 3-pointer to save their lives and their free-throw shooting was terrible. You can't win like that and they didn't.

Yeah, I've been on the Kansas bandwagon all year, but I found myself rooting for VCU.
I can't wait for the final four.

Glad to see North Carolina eliminated as well although I'm certainly no Kentucky fan either. I'm pulling for the winner of the Butler-VCU game to win it all. Too bad they have to play each other in the semis. It would be awesome to have them as the championship game. What kind of odds do you think you could have gotten as some Vegas sportsbook for this before the tournament started??

I hate KU. Actually, I LOATHE KU. No, I despise KU with the white hot passion of a thousand burning suns. Seeing VCU upset them and seeing their fans crying in the stands was maybe the sweeting bit of schadenfreude I have ever tasted.

If you think about it, Butler is not such a "dark horse" as it seems. Let's be honest, they WERE in the Final Four last year. The only real kicker is their 8 seed. I'm going to go out on a limb and say probably some thousands who filled a bracket may have gotten 3 out of the 4 (of course not VCU).
I equally loathe the Wildcats, but the fact remains they have THEE hottest fan in college basketball:

I saw a couple hundred better looking women at the Kentucky game. Ashley Judd = 6/10
I should have said best/most famous fan. Of course there is a ton of T&A in the crowd at all the hoops games that probably are better, but as far as looks+fame, no one has anything on Ashley. :2 cents:

nope. this is the first time since 1985 that a final four team did not include at least one #1 or #2 seed.
I have UConn winning it all. But the other side of my bracket was destroyed a long time ago.
My Final Four was Duke, Pitt, KU, and OSU. So yeah, I'm all the way done.
