I think it goes without saying that the way the Mississippi St. fans reacted late in the game last night against Kentucky was an absolute disgrace. Miss. St. might as well play their next home game with either no student section present or an empty arena to serve as punishment.

Also, giving phone pranks, threats, and racial slurs to DeMarcus Cousins' cell phone was way out of line, too.

One hell of a game tOSU and Purdue played, especially near the end of the game. Interesting that Robbie Hummel wasn't much of an offensive factor in this game, though I give tOSU credit for keeping him in check defensively.

That was one hell of a fuckin' game tonight in Columbus. Even up by 13, the Bucks knew they were coming back, Purdue knew they were coming back, and the Bucks knew that Purdue knew they were coming back. It's maddening to sit there and watch your team blow a lead game after game. The Boilers have to learn how to close teams out down the stretch. Come tournament time, we can't allow teams to hang around.

On a side note, if Evan Turner isn't voted Big Ten player of the year, they have no business handing out the award. I don't care what happens the rest of the season. He's the best player in the league, hands down. That guy truly scares the shit out of me. I'll gladly chip in some money for his salary if he wants to leave for the NBA after this year.

Close call on the Miss/Vandy game. Chris Warren was on fire from outside the arc.

We're going to have to win out in the regular season and probably win the conference tournament in order to get a #1 seed. 2/28 against Sparty in West Lafayette is going to be for the whole bag of marbles. That game has me worried. The rest of our schedule is very winnable, but it's tough to beat State twice in the same year.

Solid win UNI picked up tonight, considering that Jordan Eglseder is serving a 3-game suspension for his OWI charge. UNI is a team nobody wants to face in the opening rounds of the Big Dance.
