There are plenty of police depts out there that would have grabbed the first brotha they saw and bring him in as the suspect.

No, what I have heard is that she was employed to be a GOP plant, posing as a Dem who was paid to impersonate a Republican campaigner!!

In any event, it looks like she'll end up with a clean record (charges expunged) if she keeps going to her shrink and follows the rules for a while, which I think is a pretty light slap on the wrist. Future political campaign personnel directors -beware the name Ashley Todd, or any variation on it that could be a new alias for her!!!

What sounded implausible is that a mugger would take time to notice a bumper sticker and then take even more time to scrawl their preferred candidate onto the forehead of their victim. Isn't the typical idea to take the money and run?
...and hey, guess what? It wasn't plausible, it was a huge fraud, perpetrated by a racist, delusional right-wing McCain supporter/campaigner!!

Further:

1. There is a huge difference between being threatened with death and someone actually trying to kill you. Esp. in high school (and hey, if you're in high school, you probably shouldn't be here on FreeOnes); I had my life threatened for a bad haircut, but it didn't mean much, and I knew that at the time. A lot of "tough guys" - of any political persuasion - like to flap their gums. It means little.

2. I've never heard of this place "Taxachusetts" - does it exist anywhere other than in your and Rush Limbaugh's drug-addled mind(s)???
