Just giving my point of view on this subject in general, not just this case.
Question is it alright for a shop worker, office worker, hair dresser, etc to pose nude ?
Most people will answer yes to this.
So why is there so much fuss over a soldier, police person, etc to do the same. After all they are still adults that a man will admire for their beauty if its a man. Or a woman will admire if its a man doing the posing. Somebody most people might be undressing with their mind anyway.
I can't see in what way it will effect them from doing their jobs. As if it isn't effecting the quality of the work they're turning out I just can't see the problem. Like if a person of high office has an affair. If it doesn't effect their job and they continue to perform to good ability or of a level required there shouldn't be a problem.
This is just closed minded people in a modern society trying to live in a era of a bygone year. These are the ones still trying to burn books and censor what people see. If it hasn't effected how they do their jobs let them be is what I say.

Humans are free to do what they want - so long as they accept the consequences of their actions. To me that really depends on whether the person posing nude, or partially nude as it would be, in some kind of uniform. I'm fine with people wanting to pose nude for whatever magazine or TV-show, but I also think that companies or institutions have the right to demand that they aren't made a part of it, by not allowing any such uniforms, company car or whatever, to be used. And there could probably be many more factors involved that I've not thought of yet.
Another question: Where do we draw the line for how much of the things done in your personal time, we are willing to accept from a person in a certain job or position?

But models pose in uniforms all the time. How do we know they don't actually wear the same thing in real life. Or used too at least.

I didn't try to make it seem like you said anything different from what you really said. I was just answering your question. Nor do I really see how my post could look like I was trying to twist your words in any way. It was merely an attempt to give my own views on the question you asked, and it didn't really involve your argumentation for your own views.
As for whether models wear the same uniforms in real life, that's neither for me to care about or to punish them for. That's entirely up to the company or whatever they are representing when wearing that uniform. I just believe that companies have the right to not allow their uniforms or whatever to be used in all ways their employee want to. At least when done in public.

You're right - for a civillian to tell the difference, it is hard.
But for a veteran, it isn't.
All "movies"/"plays" etc. that try and attempt a realistic portrayal of soliders in their uniforms have to get permission from Command. I know someone suggested the earlier "example" of porno jocks in "fatigues" ---- yet no one noticed that the same "jocks" were NOT in "military uniform"... but wearing simple camo fatigues. With a dearth of insignia to boot!
But the question here isn't that. The argument here is that a Non Commisioned Officer of the armed forces, took it upon herself to break a code she knew she was supposed to uphold.
You can argue if it was a worthwhile code to uphold - but you cannot argue that she didn't "break any laws".

The point I made was. If it isn't interfering with the job they do, then there is no reason to make a stink over it.
Personally I can't see where a woman stripping out of a uniform to pose for naked pictures is going to effect her job. Especially when there are men mentally picturing her doing just that anyway.
