Dang, St. Louis just will not give up. What an amazing team right now. Tied it up with 1:25 to go in Chicago. Chicago looks good, the Blues just look amazing when they need to.

It will be interesting to see what they look like in the first round of playoffs. I think they are the team to beat this year.

Who else is hoping Florida can hold off Washington for the Southeast title?

^me. as far as im concerned, the southeast is the "tallest midget" division, and everyone counts the panthers out. it would be a good way to say "take that ovy, stamkos, cam, and whoevers on the jets"

:nono:

Real hockey can't happen in Florida. It's just wrong.

The scary thing is that the Panthers probably have the best collection of young talent in the league. In a few years when they all are playing on the team the Panthers could be really scary.

eh... I'm gonna have to go with Edmonton on that one. They just need to get a decent goalie and a half-way capable d-core and they'll be really fucking good in a couple years.

its so true. i have never heard a crowd boo louder than montreal. theyve had their hands on that teams throat since the first expansion, and refuse to give their players a chance without playing under a microscope. if i was a pro player, id take a pay cut just to stay out of that city. they chase players out like frankenstein when theyre bad, and make crappy rap songs when theyre good. it isnt 1967 anymore, someone let montreal know.

Sounds like the MN Wild. They've been getting booed consistently all year long, that team. Probably the de facto Canadian team of the league this year. Heatley has to be wondering WTF he ever kept the Wild in his list of 20 teams he would not opt out of trade to.

Awesome promotion that has been happening at a Toronto bar for years now.

Now if the Leafs will hire Jessica Alba as the general manager and have Vern Troyer coach then I can see the Leafs winning the cup.

Edmonton would be my second choice. Their offensive players are better but Florida's potential defense and goaltending blows Edmonton's prospects out of the water.

FFS the Red Wngs better shake this SHITTY, crappy, rusty sporadic looking funk they are in by the time the Playoffs start or its gonna be 1 and done for them!! :cussing: ever since Datsyuk had his surgery and all of those injuries came soon thereafter, the Red Wings haven't been the same ever since, they've showed stretches of pretty good play, but nothing near consistent @ all, matter of fact they've played downright awful, allot more then they've played good, thats a fact. :horse: :spanking:

All I can say is they better flip the HOT WINGS switch and play like they have @ home all year or its gonna be a very short and ugly Red Wings playoffs run this year if they continue too play like they did in Columbus the other night, and @ home earlier tonight!! :2 cents:

Great the Bruins have New York and New York this weekend, and for some reason the Islanders always seem to be on fire before they get their golf clubs out.

Detroit probably won't host a playoff series this year. I can see Nashville and possibly Chicago passing them. :(

Correction. Nashville already passed us. And falling to 6th wouldn't be all bad if we got to play the Pacific winner.

Good Bruins game yesterday as they trumped the Islanders 5-2, Turco and his yellow school bus pads made a great spin around save in the 3rd.

Philly/Pittsburgh is going to be a fucking great series!!!

Hahaha I was just watching the youtube video of what happened, I hope the Flyers mop the ice with the penguins!! lol.. :brick:

I recorded the NBC feed but the recording ended before all this stuff happened... don't forget they still gotta play 1 more regular season game against each other next saturday to add insult to injury, and then they'll meet in the 1st round of the playoffs, thats gonna be a hell of a series to watch!!! :horse::nanner:
