If Nash doesn't go to the Kings I'd be shocked...

Anyone see the news about Seattle's new arena? I wonder if a team there would be viable if it has to compete against the Seahawks and SuperSonics.

And the Sounders...NOPE. They are talking about this right now on that bitch ass NHL board I post on. Forget that. Get the Nords back!

They'd be getting the Coyotes, probably.
I hear on that punk board that a group of investors is going to secure them to stay in the desert.

BTW, the Jets/Wild game tonight was nuts. Atmosphere at the game and downtown was crazy. Manitobans everywhere. It will be one of the best rivalries in the league once Buttman schedules more than 2 games and puts them in the same division.

I believe so, because with Savard never coming back the Bruins have some cap space not sure if it is 12mil, and they just resigned Boychuk. I know Hal Gill is a free agent but I could never see Boston and Montreal setting up a trade togther.

Me neither, + I don't really want Hal "Skill" back. I'd heard we'd probably go after Tuomo Ruutuu, but apparently he's on the shelf for a few weeks now.

Montreal rips off Nashville. Hal Gill is not with 2 prospects and a second.

Detroit is gunning for Kubina. Apparently Emmerson, a 2nd and another prospect would get it done. Why you trying to play your boys like that Stevie?? Why you trying to rip us off?? I hope this deal doesn't go through. Kubina is a shitbag.

In regards to the Seattle area, the price tag for it is $500 million. However they will not build it unless they get a hockey and basketball team. As for Phoenix there are some interested buyers so I doubt they will go to Seattle.

As far as I know the basketball team is the only one that is required. The guy who is building the arena wants to own the basketball theam but doesn't care about hockey. There's a chance the arena won't be profitable without a hockey team but one isn't required and it is always going to be a secondary tenant to the SuperSonics if they return, which makes me think Seattle might not be such a great place for hockey. Maybe Portland is a better option; the Blazers are already there, but there are no NFL or MLB teams to compete with, and the rivalry with Vancouver would still be there...

To the Extreem!! Pasha you are a true son of Mother Rusia! Your hart was heavy early in the Reg. season
due to the deaths of many friends in the Russian Plane Crash.

And Now ?, You are back to being the Magician that you can be.

gotta say Datsyuk is one of my favorite non-bruins, and a true master of almost every facet of the game. a quiet, humble and charitable gent, too.

Admire the thought! He is one of the best players these days, smooth, skilled and with a flash.

PS The Bruins are my favorite team of the east

GO WINGS!

All I have to say is Backstrum put on a clinic against the Bruins yesterday stonewalling them 3-0, honestly if Thomas gets traded I wouldn't care.

Rumour Alert. Apparently Columbus is trying their damndest to package Carter in a trade with Nash, but if nobody bites, Toronto has offered Kadri and 2 tbd roster players for Carter and possibly Mason.

New Jersey interested in Minnesota's Josh Harding.

Calgary looking at Derek Roy.

Detroit looking to add some grit and Steve Ott, Travis Moen, Steve Downie and George Parros have been mentioned.

Would LOVE to see LA get Nash and Carter. I said the other day that Bernier and Johnson with some picks and prospects would makes sense for both teams. Especially since, the Kings need goal scorers and have everything else in place. They get that done and I have to think they become front-runners.

FUCK yeah!

Parise might be headed home afterall. That is what we are all hoping for on the Wild board. We don't need Hards anymore, he is a liability since we have Hackett playing lights out in Houston.

I would be thrilled to get Ott or Moen... Downie is too much of a loose cannon sort of speak and too much of a risk to lose his composure, I don't think the Red Wings would take a chance on a guy like that, Parros is too 1 dimensional for the Red Wings too carry and dress on nighly basis, they'd be looking for somebody to compliment the 3rd or 4th line, parros I don't think is a complete enough player too play a regular shift every night. Ott or Moen, would be nice. if you don't mind my asking where did you hear this?? Holland doesn't usually tip his cap or hint to anybody there interested in until he's already a Red Wing.. that way nobody can drive up the price or steal him before the Red Wings complete a deal. :2 cents: I really hope your source is solid that would be Awesome to get Ott. or Moen.. :glugglug:

 I fucking knew that was gonna happen. They play awesome for 25-30 minutes and can't score, then give up one decent scoring chance (which of course ends up in the net) and then they just look like they're trying to run out the clock... What the fuck is going on? I think they probably forgot how to lose in Nov/Dec and now they can't remember how to get any kind of a roll going again.
