Iginla just got 500 against the Wild. Pretty shitty garbage goal as well. Good for him though. Number 18 to get to that plateau? Or was it 28? Either way an elite club.

Yes it was a fluke goal but still cool to see it live. He is the 42nd player to reach 500 goals and the 15th to do it with one team.

Nope but you can taste it when the Canucks choke to the Red Wings or the Sharks in the playoffs.

Choking to the Sharks is impossible. Now, the Bruins choking to the Rangers on the other hand...

I hate the Habs with every fiber of my being, but when I heard what Cams said, I thought "Well at least someone in that room is stepping up and at least acting accountable." Then they friggin' traded him :1orglaugh

Hello Sexy girl how your Toes doing?
Anybody see this last night at the Hawks game? Fucking hilarious. This dude is my hero

I didn't see it, but I just watched it, I would totally do that! I am on another level of courage / spontaneous charm when I am talking to girls, that would have been something I would do without a doubt, I know most dudes wouldn't say it, or would be too embarrassed to do it, so the guy is one of the few who would do that. :2 cents:

So I kind of get the feeling that Crosby's career is over. If not now, then very certainly after the next injury.

I think this will have an impact on his team and on his play, if he does come back. If he's playing, his teammates are going to go overboard protecting him, and he's going to play more conservatively, in order to avoid head injuries. This is a shame, as his career would have been entirely comparable to Gretzky, otherwise.

Thoughts?

Yeah I have been saying that since the 1st time he was out, they took sooooo long too finally clear him too play again, then he is back and is getting into scrums with no regard for his head condition, then he @ some point suffers another hit too the head or just suddenly started feeling symptoms of a concussion again, who knows how long he is gonna be out this time, when if he returns, I don't see him playing with same aggressiveness and balls out mentality as he likes to play or wants too play, I personally hate the guy, but its a shame too see a player with that much talent succumb too a injury so early in his career, He reminds me of Lindros, of course crosby isn't as physical and abrasive as Lindros was, but crosby still went into the high traffic, tougher areas of the ice to score goals. I am telling everybody right now, its is the cement like equipment these players are wearing, that & that got damn instigator rule, players are so comfortable nailing somebody without fearing retribution, both of those things have to change or there are gonna be more and more incidents like this. I wish Crosby goodluck, even though I hate him, he is one of the best players in the world, and should be playing for the next 10 - 15 years until he decides to retire, not because of medical condition that can't stand the NHL's brutality. :2 cents:

Well the Wild just lost Mikko til the end of the month. Ugh. It's the Twins season all over again with all these damned injuries. I don't think there's been one "star" on the squad that hasn't missed significant time. If they make post season it will be a miracle now. PM Bouchard and Latendresse have been out for some time, Seto and Heater have missed quite a bit of time, and their best d-man Spurgeon and Zidlicky have missed a bunch of games. Ugh.

Blues are tied for most points in the league! Geezus, what a turnaround. I thought they were going to suck again this year....like always. Hitchcock has got them playing at the highest level I've seen out of them in years. We'll see if they can keep it going. It would be awesome if they can end up being a high seed going into the playoffs. They haven't been relevant since I don't know when.

I love the Detroit/St Louis rivalry and it's always better when both teams are fighting for top spot in the conference! Those Yzerman/Pronger teams always fought tooth and nail back in the day.

Hitchcock Is why your team is good again. Good coaches really make a lot of difference. I'm so glad we have CJ up in boston.
