Wow what a night of Hockey, 2 game 7's I really had no preference who won the Bruins/Habs series, and I quite surprised the Pens lost a game 7 @ HOME! I know there missing there 2 best players but I thought game 7 being @ home they'd pull it out somehow.. I am so glad the Penguins were in eliminated in the 1st round. :elaugh:

Congrats to the Lighting... I get what STDiva was talking about when he was talking about the Lighting beating the Pens without 2 top five players in the world in the PENS lineup, but the Lighting did comeback from a 3 - 1 series deficit to win the series, that's pretty impressive for any team too do no less against a team that had a great season without crosby and malkin. :2 cents:

I am picking the Capitals to advance to the ECF and I don't know who will win the Bruins/Flyers series.. but I know its gonna be a great series..

I am a Homer so I am picking My Red Wings and the Predators for WCF.. :2 cents: we shall see what happens, but I know I can't wait for the 2nd round to start.. later PUCKHEADS!! :nanner::glugglug:

Roli kept them in the series...BUT, it was another "A" word that won it for Tampa! That word? Atrocious.....as in the Pittsburgh Penguins' power play was ATROCIOUS!:1orglaugh

Congratulations to Tampa for coming back to take the series.....Now don't waste your 1st round victory.....Knock Ovie and the fucking Capitals out in round 2! Ha ha ha!

very impressed with tampas playoff game.

the tampa and washington series will be boring. matters how u look at it. defensive low scoring games.

but tampa will hopefully pull through.

going for bruins because i have no interest in seeing versteeg carried any further.

wonder if the canucks can continue their playoff hockey and not crumble like previous years. going with nashville just incase.

ima watch redwings in round 2. i dont believe they arent being carried by the refs.

Still on the HATERS list huh.. of course its hard for me too be bias cuz I am such a homer and die hard Red Wings fan... and the Sharks will goon it up... so YOU may look @ whatevers gonna happen and say the REFS ARE carrying the Red Wings when the Sharks are attacking the Wings any which way they can... but I am pretty certain the REFS are the Hardest against the Red Wings then they are against any other team...

If there not why didn't the REFS call all those blatant NON calls against the penguins that led directly to goals for the Pens in the 09 finals?? :eek::dunno::cussing: just saying.. Besides BUTTMAN would have a HEART ATTACK if he thought or knew his REFS were giving ANY special treatment to the Red Wings. :2 cents::horse:

i also dislike how dirty they played.

i was a detroit fan through the lock out. till i realized how dirty they played. i wasnt going to be a fan of a team like that.

im a fan of detroits roster. i guess im not a fan of babcock and staff.

I don't understand in which way you say the Red Wings are a dirty team??? Please explain??? they are one of the least penalized teams cuz they DON'T really get involved in extra curricular non-sense.. they'd rather depend on and hurt the opposition on the PP..

Yes Detroit does crash the Net ALLOT but its not like running the goalie or even interfering with them physically, they crowd the front of the net to obstruct the goalies view.. Our team had like under 15 fighting majors for the entire season which I HATE!!!

FFS I wish the Red Wings were more like the DUCKS, SHARKS, BRUINS, FLYERS, and PENGUINS and all the other teams that have guys that do plenty of fighting when its needed.. IMO Detroit is very Soft on that front.. so that's why I ask, Detroit's Dirty in what way??? BABCOCK hates diving so if any of his players are diving he will bench them until they stop doing it, he wants guys moving all the time. not falling and flopping and possibly losing position and giving up scoring chances for and against. :dunno::2 cents:

I'm not saying they purposely were going after the goalie to bump him when screening.

But don't make like goalie's are innocent little angles. When they are hacking away at legs and crotches with their giant ass stick when no one is looking/able to see exactly wtf is going on.

i would go searching for the closest thing i could beat someone with. and use it on someone sticking their ass crack sweat drenched hockey equipment in my face.

you cant blaim goalies getting bent out of shape when they either wait for action. or have guys sweaty ass crack in their face for 2 and half hours and that equipment.

the equipment would piss me off enough alone. then add all that unnecessary shit.

your team pushing people into you. fear pulling something at anytime. the littlest slip. ect.

Tampa played an amazing defensive game last night , they blocked 20+ shots on defense and Roli was great. Montreal got eliminated so :nanner: My predictions for the second round :

Western conference

Nashville over vancouver ( in 7 )
Detroit over San Jose ( in 6 )

Eastern conference

Tampa Bay over Washington ( in 7 )
Philadelphia over Boston ( in 7 )

Tampa barely beat an injured Pittsburgh team.. They might win 2 games.. But the Caps will win it in 6..

Boston played pretty poorly against Montreal. They will need to step up their game to have a chance against Philly.

I actually like Tampa's chances against Washington to take them out in 7 games.

I think Nashville and Detroit will win in 5. San Jose are the choke artists of the NHL. They should not be favored in any series ever (even though I'm rooting for them to take out the Red Wings)
