NFL '11 Season Thread

Also....wtf was Jason Garret (sp?) doing when he called that timeout? What was his reasoning for that? Does anybody know? Is there any reason why he would ever risk icing his own kicker? Did he think there was too many men on the field? Wtf was he doing??? Idiot.

Heard on ESPN that his Special Teams coach came on over his headset and told him to call timeout because he saw something from the coaches booth that led him to believe they had a mis-formation or something along those lines!?

Either way, Jerry J. can't be too happy...

That wasn't even his worst call. With 20-somethig seconds left, instead of using a timeout (which they had 2 of) and running a play or two to get the field goal within a good distance, they spiked the ball. Who the fuck spikes the ball with 7 seconds left and 2 timeouts, just to kick a long field goal on the next play? I think he learned game management from Les Miles.

PJPenny wins week 13 going 11/16. Way to go, son.

Even for some reason that is true, it's pretty embarrassing to have a messed up formation on a field goal, yet along to see one that's not there.

Tampa Bay @ Jacksonville
Houston @ Cincinnati
Minnesota @ Detroit
New England @ Washington
Kansas City @ New York Jets
Atlanta @ Carolina
Philadelphia @ Miami
New Orleans @ Tennessee
Indianapolis @ Baltimore
Chicago @ Denver
San Francisco @ Arizona (My friends has insisted, for about a month now, that Arizona will win this game. I believe him.)
Buffalo @ San Diego
Oakland @ Green Bay
New York Giants @ Dallas
St Louis @ Seattle (Does anyone realize that Arizona and Seattle have realistic shots at the playoffs?)

I predict the Chargers will win out, finish 9-7, and edge out the Raiders (via tiebreaker) to win the AFC West. The Broncos will lose their remaining four games.

Cleveland@ Pittsburgh <-- there's been a few upsets on thursday night this year, come on browns!

Tampa Bay @ Jacksonville <-- tampa is bad this year, but they're not Jacksonville bad.

Houston @ Cincinnati <-- Andy Dalton and A.J Green are going to have a bounce back game

Minnesota @ Detroit <-- I don't care if Megatron is covered by 3 different people, you throw him the ball.. That's why he's called 'Megatron'

New England @ Washington <-- Helu will probably have another good game, but the redskins are just to bad..

Kansas City @ New York Jets <-- Let's see if Greene shows up to play again this week..

Atlanta @ Carolina <-- I've said it before, and I'll say it again.. Ryan sucks on the road

Philadelphia @ Miami <-- This is Reid's last chance, he has to get these players to play at 100%

New Orleans @ Tennessee <-- Now, this is when we see if Johnson really is back..

Indianapolis @ Baltimore <-- I'm so excited for this game.. We're home, it's the colts.. There's no way we can lose

Chicago @ Denver <-- Here goes the defense winning it again for Denver..

San Francisco @ Arizona <-- I was thinking about the cards on this one, but Jim is to good of a coach for a letdown

Buffalo @ San Diego <-- I don't really think the Chargers are all of a sudden good again, but the bills just suck..

Oakland @ Green Bay <-- Maybe if mcfadden was playing, but nope he still isn't.. Why in the world did I ever trade for him in fantasy

New York Giants @ Dallas <-- This could be a really good game, I think Bradshaw is going to be at 100% and light the 'boys up

St Louis @ Seattle <-- Who picks these monday night games??? ESPN should be furious..

Let's take a look at some of last week's picks..

Oakland @ Miami <--I have a feeling Oakland is going to do a ton of penalties that lose the game for them.

Well, I don't know if that's the main reason they lost.. But, 10 penalties for 91 yards doesn't help

Atlanta @ Houston <-- Ryan isn't good on the road.. Upset!

Matt Ryan: 20 of 47 for 267 yards, 1 TD and 2 INT's

[Denver @ Minnesota <-- and once again Denver's defense wins the game for tebow

I'll give tebow credit, he didn't do to bad of a job that game.. But, if that defender dropped that interception at the end of the game.. There could be a completely different outcome.

[Tennessee @ Buffalo <-- I still don't think Chris Johnson is fully back, but he's going to kill the bills

He did kill the bills, but I have to see what he does against a not terrible run defense this week..

[Baltimore @ Cleveland <-- In each of the Ravens' 3 losses, Rice ran the ball a total of 26 times.. Please, just give him the ball

Thank you Cam Cameron! You finally realized to give rice the football.. 29 carries, beautiful..

Dallas @ Arizona <-- Unless Patrick Peterson returns 3 punts for touchdowns, the cowboys win
Well, even that or Jason Garrett ices his own kicker..

raven why don't the experts know as much as the fans. All of us pick better than the experts lol Same with coaching, the fans always seem to know more. I don't know why the coaching staffs won't stick with what works. Heck my team is undefeated and has its flaws, i'm glad the packers have no problems offensively but I'm not satisfied with that D. I feel that they slack because the offense can pretty much score at will, but they have to play some D or it could bite them in the ass.

good luck to your Ravens they seem to be back on track

My brother has Big Ben as his fantasy QB. I'm not going to say that I cheered when he went down but,... okay, I might have cheered a little. :o
