NFL '11 Season Thread

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
It's really hard to like the Lions when they play this undisciplined and dirty. At least 3 unsportsmanlike conduct calls and Pettigrew just pushed an official.

What a fucking disgrace. Does Schwartz have any control over his team?

Teams are an extension of their coach. Jim Shorts is a bitch and so are the Lions. Way to give that game to the Saints!!

maybe its just me..but did you guys see the first qtr of the pitt cinn game? cinn was moving the ball good..got it in the red zone..how did i know they had a snowballs chanch in hell from the moment i seen the first flag fly??..i kNew the first flag i seen hit the ground the deck was stacked against cinn..this was before any score..amazing

It was the same thing the last time they played. They basically stole a touchdown from Gresham. Pittsburgh historically gets a lot of good calls. Super Bowl against Seattle ring a bell?

I love how every Sunday we have a page full of tebow discussions. Lol

Seriously. Every time I check into this thread, I find myself skipping past people arguing about Tebow.

Wow. Kevin Smith is injured again?!?! Can that guy go more than one game without getting hurt?

Lol, when I first tuned into the game, one of the first things I saw was Kevin Smith sitting injured on the sideline, and I thought to myself, "again?"

maybe its just me..but did you guys see the first qtr of the pitt cinn game?

No, I was too busy watching the Raiders lay a fucking egg.

Word.

Btw now that Forte is injured, the Bears are officially fucked. And the Lions are threatening a repeat of their 2007 season, which started 6-2 and ended 7-9 (which was an omen for the next season.....0-16).

That sucks for Chicago. They were getting it together too.

This looks good on the Lions, who were acting like champs before making the playoffs. They're upcoming schedule isn't easy either, At Oakland. San Diego. At Green Bay and Minnesota at home. they could lose all 4 of those if they keep pushing refs and talking shit after every completion.

the refs are all asskissing stealer fans. the SB against arizona was bullshit too. arizona outplayed them but every stupid little thing they did got a flag

how well i remember..its like a stamp inside my brain..that was without question the most fixed ballgame i ever seen..hawks rb was from alabama..so i was kinda leaning towards them..remember the off. foul in the endzone?...them yeller bastards should have brought a gun to that game because they down right robbed the hawks..all the zebras must have bet the yellerfellers that day

Well looks like The Green Bay Packers have officially clinched a playoff birth and are now NFC North Champions! Even though we only won by a field goal it was a very good game and got to give it up to the Giants for giving us a good gut check that is much needed, our defense really needs to step it up, Congrats Green Bay on 12 & 0   :glugglug:

although i dislike the 49ers they should be congratulated for their turnaround.

red001

I'm loving it, but they still have a long way to go on offense. Our joke of a division is also a big help, and the big wins they have aren't actually that impressive. Philly is shit, the Giants aren't that good, Cincinatti is shit, etc. Baltimore ran their show like nobodies business.

Still, the success is refreshing. I hope they get that first round bye. I can't see them losing to anybody but Pittsburgh for the rest of the season. 13-3 hopefully, 12-4 at worst. Go 9ers!!!

Is anyone surprised Eugene 'Mercury' Morris hasnt yet ran his mouth about how his Dolphins team would destroy the Green Bay Packers? He seems to do that every year, and he was especially voicestrous the year the Patriots had their perfect regular season.

He seems to be the only member of the 72 Dolphins who still yaps about how great that team was.
