I'am also staring to wonder if the flashback sequences is the actual story and what we are seing on the island has to do with something else.

The producers have said time and again, dont believe what you see.

I didn't watch the first season until it was on DVD, and after the show had won best new series, or whatever it was that it won. Once you start watching, it will hook you.

Yeah, last night seemed to be one of those filler episodes they have every so often where you still don't want to miss it, but there aren't a lot of "WOW" moments. I just want to know how the hell the other got onto the boat without going past Jin and Sayid, and not getting wet. I would have thought that if they used a boat, they would have been heard.

It was funny as hell though when Ben was trying to convince Jack that the Red Sox had won the world series!

ABC.com, watch full ep's online. 3 Commercials during the show, click the bottom right 'big/normal' and.. it doesnt turn into a full video overlay, so you cant maximize it or send it to a second monitor/TV.

In other words.. down your resolution to 800x600 and enjoy.

I just peeped this week's episode on my DVR.

The Hatch implodes, Locke, Desmond, Charlie, Eko somehow get out of it.

And desmond has some ability to see the future.

Shit gets more confusing every week. But I cant stop watching!

Ok, now there are 2 islands. i'am suspecting they are somewhere off of Australia. I watched the Discorey Atlas show and they said Aussie has over 8000 islands around it.

It's seems the Others are clueless on what they are doing.....or it they may be acting clueless to get what they want from Jack, Sawyer and Kate.

Looks like next week might be interesting.

ok lost rocks! if you look at the clues. the show is making some what sense at times. why i say that is because a buddy said to me that the others werent put there by the U.S. or any other country. wrong if you ask me. during the cold war many ilands were used as testing bases for many countrys .not even during the cold war. if you ask me these people are part of a research team to put on the iland to do something. darma is shit. its a coverup for the true company or county. and the facted that product placement isnt part of the show. so you must cover the name on stuff.

Yeah, this seems like a bit of a stretch to me. I would think that with all of the travelling the Losties have done on the island along with the sailing that Sun, Jin and Sayid did along the coast to get to the Others' fake camp, that someone would have seen that second island by now. If the Losties' island is visible from the other island, then the other island has to be visible from the Losties' island. I'm going to try to have a little faith here that this will be explained satisfactorally since they've done such a good job explaining everything to this point.

It seems to me, if this show is planned to run for five seasons, and we are in the beginning of the third now, that with all of the questions they have raised at this point, they would need to start answering these questions NOW in order to have them all answered by the end of season five.

I seem to remember at some point that they haen't explored the whole island. I believe its mostly the Northern end. Perhaps the Others island is visible on the north side.

I could be worng but didn't Sayid walk around the whole island in season 1? Wouldn't he have seen the other island? I think this could be some trick by the others. Something along the lines of a force field that they have some control over and are showing an image of an island just to keep Sawyer in line.

the others seem to have some sort of trick i would think to hide their island from the losties.

and as for sayid walking around the island, i believe he stopped when he found the long electrical wire that tracked into the French womans camp.

im thinking she may come into this soon as well... somehow

I think juballs is right about Sayid. I think he had just started to try to travel around the island when he was caught by the French chick.

I'm just wondering what kind of trick they could possibly have to hide an island that isn't going to be completely lame...still...trying to have faith...

Ignoring the whole second island thing (yeah I think it's a trick) there are 2 things about sawyer's behaviour that bugged my last episode:

1) Why does he not suspect that they are being watched and listened to in their cages? First he explains his plan (stupid) to electrify the puddle. And then Kate gets out of the cage (and back in). Does she think she got away with that in secret.

2) How could sawyer really belive they did open heart surgery on him? They barely knew how to hold the syringe.

Saywer is a pretty smart guy, but those two things seem like really bad plot devices to me.

the second island doesn't need to be hidden for the plot to work. Sayid did scout the island, but he didnt walk all the way around it.

If he had walked all the way around, he would of seen the fake camp and the statue of a 4 toed foot already.
