So you're admitting that you're wrong? Good to know. :hatsoff:

No I just think that movie is hilarious.

I did however concede that the points that pornophile made earlier against me had merit earlier in the thread. Oh wait you don't read the thread you just spew into it, I forgot.

I am going to sleep now.. please try to keep it civilized until my return I beg of you. I really am enjoying this topic, from both sides.

Oh and for new people posting (and a few that have been posting for a while) you really should read the whole thread before posting. It is really quite interesting.

Night fellas'.

You are the most infuriating little prick I've ever come across on this forum. If I ever get my hands on you in real life... Well until then goodnight ya little shit.

I believe in a Creator. Do I think this Creator is a man with a white beard and white robes....no.
Do I believe the Creator had a son who came to Earth over 2,000 years ago? No.
Am I a Creationist. Nope.
Do I believe in the fossil record? You bet and I collect them.
Do I think humans and Dinosaurs existed together? Nope.
Do I believe there was a world where for hundreds of million years no human existed? Yes.
Do I see "intelligent design" in nature? Yes.
Do I believe that when you pass from this world one's "soul" moves on? Yes.

The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
Do I believe this argument is a waste of time? Yes.

Question: Can God create a mystery box of which that he/she cannot even know the contents?

Pssst... it's a brand new washer and dryer set

Of course He exists :)

Do I see "intelligent design" in nature? Yes.

"The Babel fish".............
.................
"Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mindboggingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some thinkers have chosen to see it as the final and clinching proof of the non-existence of God. The argument goes something like this:
`I refuse to prove that I exist, says God, `for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing.'
`But,' says Man, `The Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves you exist, and so therefore, by your own arguments, you don't. QED.'
`Oh dear,' says God, `I hadn't thought of that,' and promptly vanished in a puff of logic."

If God is omnipotent, which as I have been taught is part of if not the entire definition of Him, then there is nothing He can not do.

Assuming this is true, then we can demonstrate that an omnipotent being, by definition, can't exist.

If he can create a box which he can't look into, then there is something he can't do, which in this case would be looking into the box. He would therefore not be omnipotent.

If He can't create a box of this nature, then this still shows that He is not omnipotent, since there is still something he can't do.

Either way, by this argument He can't be omnipotent, AKA all-powerful. If he is not all powerful, then by definition he is not God. If nobody is all powerful, then nobody is God. If nobody is god, then there is no god.

People may try to get out of this by saying god is outside of reality, but that is simply a cop-out of an argument which can't be beaten from the other point of view.

If God exists and he is omnipotent, that doesn't mean that just because he could do anything, he should. (BTW I use "he" a lot but obviously such an entity would not have a gender like us, and using "it" just sounds weird). Its like the case of a person's free will to defy God. Does this certainly mean that God cannot control a person's will and therefore is not omni-potent? No, it just means he chooses not to. Some would even say it is against his nature, since controlling a person in such a way would be considered malevolent.

So this shows there are things God will not do. Maybe by looking into the box which he created in such a way that he could not look into, the universe is destroyed. But you also have to admit, all these "Can God (blank) so that even he could not (blank)" questions are paradoxical in nature. It reminds me of the question: Can a man go back in time and kill his own grandfather? Many people would ask this and conclude since its impossible, that time travel cannot happen. To me, its inconclusive and does not suggest any sort of time travel cannot be achieved.

HEY! If God didn't like to stoke his thick meaty God cock to scat based bestiality porn he wouldn't have invented it! I'm just glad I could be directly involved to help him release that divine and merciful wad of his every once in a while.

He'll thank me when I'm dead.

You'll never die. Neither God in Heaven or Satan in Hell want you sexually harassing them for eternity so you will continue to 'live' whilst the rest of us here at Freeones will suffer instead.
