Darren Bent :D

Best headline so far, on BBC website: 'Villa confirm record Bent signing'

You would think that they would have avoided buying players with criminal tendencies..!!:1orglaugh

It just looks to me that Aston Villa are preparing their players for when they go down to the championship.

About time we had a decent striker, hopefully the signing reflects the ambition of the board and that they are in it for the long term interests of the club. If we can continue to play like we did against Man. City for the rest of the season I can't see relegation being an issue. Next match against Wigan is a great opportunity, UTV.

Van Der Vart has already scored and missed a penalty as Spurs lead 1-0, Arsenal 3-0 up against Newcastle after only 10 mins

Aston Villa 2-2 Fulham

Everton 5-3 Blackpool

Manchester City 3-0 West Brom

Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal

Stoke 3-2 Sunderland

Wigan 4-3 Blackburn

Tottenham 2-1 Bolton :nanner:

Answer: Phil Dowd. I have never seen a greater embarrassment as a ref than this clown. 2 penalty kicks awarded against a squad that was down to 10 men? Arsenal let Joey Barton, the most thuggish, untalented joke of a professional, mess around and Phil Dowd, the ref, was Barton's little lap dog "Anything you want, Joey. Free kick Newcastle!" How could Wenger not say at halftime: DO NOT LET JOEY BARTON FUCK WITH YOU!!!

I do think there can be legit criticism leveled against my Goons---we don't have a fucking mean beast on our squad. I learned today that Abu Diaby is our toughest player! And he got himself sent off! Fabregas, Walcott, Arshavin, Van Persie, Clichy, Kolczelny...these aren't players who intimate the opposition with a glare or a snarl.

larss

I'm watching some specialist videos
I can't believe that.
How was Nolan not sent off for getting Szczesny in a headlock and throwing him to the ground. Surely that was more grounds for a sending off than Diaby.
