English Premier League 2009/2010

Anybody know anything about Marouane Chamakh of Bordeaux? He seems to be the only name being thrown around for potential Arsenal striker.....I know nothing about him :dunno:

Arsenal 0 Chelsea 3

:thumbsup:RESULT

We had most of the ball but try to walk the ball in instead of shooting :(

chelsea had 3 shots the whole game.

Thanks but I was hoping for something more along the lines of.."Hell YEAH I've seen that dude play! He put 5 past PSG in Paris. He will score 30 for Arsenal easy!"

I think they would be better making a cheeky bid for Rodallega of Wigan,
than wasting a shed load on Chamakh ;)

Well the blues keep on with their winning ways with a battling 3-2 victory away to Wigan :glugglug:, heres all Saturday FT results.

Arsenal 2-0 Stoke
Aston Villa 3-0 Hull
Blackburn 0-0 Liverpool
Portsmouth 2-0 Burnley
West Ham 0-4 Man Utd
Wigan 2-3 Birmingham
Wolverhampton 2-1 Bolton

At half time so far Man C 1-1 Chelski

Will Benitez be sacked in January? I think Liverpool are circling the drain and the fans will demand changes...Benitez will be "walking alone" soon, I suppose ;) :thefinger

is it just my imagination or are more players getting injured this season than you would expect in a normal season?

It's probably because its the world cup season and players want to
save their strength for it.I bet there will be a few at it ;)

that's a good point but if you are not playing well and regularly for
your club i think it's unlikely you'll be getting on the plane to South
Africa if you are English.

there's lots of competition for almost every position in the
English team so i think that strategy would only work if you are
almost guaranteed a place like Wayne Rooney etc. but i'll bet
there are a few who come from countries where there is very
little competition for places who are doing just as you said.

English Premeir League is such good soccer. We get the occashional game on ESPN here in the states but it would be nice If I could afford the league package. MLS is good, but it's not as good as EPL.

I have Cable TV and I ponyied up for all of the "Digital Sports Programming" which gives me 8 Fox cable sports channels and Moutain West Channel and Versus too I think....so, I watch the EPL on Fox Soccer Channel.

You can always find games on Justin.tv, in English and in decent quality (if you have broadband internet)

To my fellow Goons...I have a transfer window striker. I think he could be available and we wouldn't have to break the bank for him. He would actually fit in with the Gunners' style too..

Miroslav Klose.

Thoughts.

^^ maybe KNOB_CHEESE is an ex or retired mod with an axe to grind. :violent:

The Tiger Woods of moderating. Or maybe he used to be a popular
board member who no longer feels welcome here and had turned to the
dark side. :dunno:

Miroslav Klose? :yesyes: :yesyes: :yesyes:
