To my fellow Goons...I have a transfer window striker. I think he could be available and we wouldn't have to break the bank for him. He would actually fit in with the Gunners' style too..

Miroslav Klose.

Thoughts.

i think that’s a very good idea. Miroslav Klose could be a huge success for
the Gunners like Jurgen Klinsmann was for Spurs a few years back. :2 cents:

A great win for the blues against West Ham yesterday, keeping the unbeaten run going nicely, and the Villa tripping The scum with a momentous win, Chelski perhaps not taking full advantage of this yesterday.

Bolton 3-3 Manchester City
Tottenham 0-1 Wolves

Spurs lost to a bottom-feeder. Not a good day. Especially when all but AV lose or tie

WOOO HOOO!!!!!

:nanner:

They might as well rename Anfield ---Arshavinfield  He pretty much owns Liverpool. :thefinger

It wasn't the sexiest Arsenal win I've ever seen, but it was a composed, workmanlike effort. We basically got the job done. Nothing fancy. Although Arshavin's shot was sick...

Have we seen the last of Benitez?

I hate to see own goals even by teams I hate like Liverpool. There's nothing more brutal in all of professional sport than the own goal.

Big game against Burnley today....we need to keep it goin' :nanner:

I think Denilson and Traore are out, but Rosicky and Eboue are back? Silvestre is going to get the LB start.

We need a big game from Cesc tonight...

Burnley are tough to beat at home but I think Arsenal will beat them and need to as I think Chelsea will hammer Portsmouth tonight.

Cesc was playing magical last night until he came up limping. When he was subbed, we basically went in the shitter. 1 - 1 was not what was needed and I think effectively ends the Gunners title ambitions. We should just worry about clinging to 3rd or 4th now.

Does any other Goon think there may be discord between Cesc and Arshavin? Does Arshavin want to be Captain? It's almost like they each get in each other's way out there and neither one wants to "serve" the other? I don't know....

Silvestre was admirable out there. He's really just a sub at this point. He was exposed by Burnley who really played magnificently in the second half. If that one guy didn't keep getting offsides they might've actually won the game! That go ahead goal sure looked onside to me but I think the ref just automatically saw the Burnley player and ran up the offsides flag--as gut instinct :rofl2:

Wenger looked pissed off at Walcott too. Will Walcott ever matter for Arsenal?

It look like Mick McCarthy is in deep shit with the F.A for fielding a weak side Manchester United, the Wolves fans doesn't seem happy either since they were chanting 'we want our money back'.

Why would he do that? I would've expected Sir Alex to maybe do that but Wolves?? What are they saving themselves for---the Carling Cup

i dont actually mind the decision to rest the first team players. being honest they didnt have much chance of beating utd no matter wot team they put out so i think it makes more sense for them to rest player for sunday when they play burnley who they actually stand a chance of beating. just my opinion though. saying that i can understand wolves fans who wen to the match being upset as they didnt buy a ticket intending to watch the reserves.
