Light one for Me
A friend posted her friends recent experience of the on going pandemic;
"So lockdown is sort of relaxing we are beginning to poke our heads out of our burrows, maybe meet up with folks again in small groups and all the rest. Happy Days! I thought the same myself, met a few clients last week, didn't get too close and was outside with them. Neighbours called - again didn't get too close and stayed outside. Got diesel, wore gloves. I was tempted to meet a few friends and go for a swim somewhere luckily the forecast gave bad winds so we didn't. I really didn't think I had exposed myself too much. Thursday night felt a bit sore working in the garden but then I have been doing more of that recently, Friday I felt like I had a flu coming on and by the end of the day it was turning into a proper man-flu but I had none of the main symptoms of Covid like temperature, cough, or loss of taste or smell. Saturday I was very bad barely fit to get out of bed. I rarely get a flu so I thought may as well get tested as we didn't know whether to isolate or not. I booked myself in and went to the MOT centre...... Today the results came back positive. Good news is I am pretty much back to normal and so far the rest of the family are fine as are the neighbours. My parents were due to come over for the first time since lockdown started on Sunday, luckily we cancelled that as they are both over 70. Just be carefull out there folks this thing is closer to your doors than you think."
