Trump is on a roll against Republican governors. When does someone tell him ‘enough is enough’? Just kidding, he wouldn’t listen.

We all know ‘Ron DeSanctimonious.” Next up is Virginia’s Glenn Youngkin with “Young Kin (now that’s an interesting take. Sounds Chinese, doesn’t it?) …” Why the fuck does he need write that? (Rhetorical question. I know the answer. :brick: )

VA’s Lt. Gov: “A true leader understands when they have become a liability … that it’s time to step off the stage.”

It appears he still is miles away from hitting the wall of reality. Still he manages to shed the blame on others, I guess IF (That is a BIG IF) the numbers fall harshly in favor of the Democrats, if the remaining votes swing the Senate, maybe even the House... would THAT do the trick? To be honest, I doubt that. Maybe there have to be some sentences that cut deep, cost him some hundred millions, maybe send someone from the inner circle to prison, something like that.

But for now, watch this until the end. Unreal.

"Stable Genius" -- Huh??

Cassidy Hutchinson.JPG

That didn't sound that way when he tried to grab the wheel of the SUV from Anthony Ornato, his Deputy Chief of Operations and his lunging forward from the back seat during the January 6th Insurrection. Robert Engel, part of Ornato's staff, then grabbed Trump's arm and told him that they couldn't go to the Capitol as it was unsafe and that they were going back to the West Wing of the White House. President Trump then cursed and had a meltdown. - Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony in front the January 6th House Committee on June 29, 2022.

Kinda funny that "Are trump's former allies turning on him?" is a headline that has been repeated literally since his presidency. Remember how everyone from Spicer to basically everyone who quit his admin got a book/media deal to trash him?

It will be interesting to see if he postpones the "announcement" until after the runoff.
To play devil's advocate, it could be a smart move for him to go "all or nothing" and go ahead with announcing his run. If the runoff turns sour, he's already dead in the water, so no big deal. On the other hand, if the runoff goes in favour of the GOP - he could leach off that win, saying that his announcement was a factor.

Democrats take the senate in Nevada, Georgia is moot.
It does matter. If the Dems reach 51, they can lose one vote (e.g., Manchin or Sinema) and still pass legislation.

I am done writing him off. Each time I think he's done something dumb enough to lose support, he comes back.

2024 is two years away. Lots will happen between now and then.

I just mean it's moot as far as Trump waiting to make an announcement. Big-Ass MAGA Loser has no reason to wait now.

Well the January 6th House Committee had asked for Donald Trump's testimony tomorrow on November 14th on the matter. Either by (most likely) video deposition at Mar-a-Lago or by coming to the House. Imagine what that would have done? Media coverage would have been extreme. Traffic in Washington, D.C. would have been horrible. Instead, Donald Trump decided to sue the Committee in the D.C. Circuit Court. This is what Trump's legal team is doing. They plan on delaying his compelling testimony until the House switches leadership in January. This way, the Committee gets dissolved without him giving any damning testimony. They (his legal team) feel that no current sitting President or ex-President has never been asked to give testimony to Congress. So they are using precedents now? Just to counter that argument, never has a President ever incited a riot or provoked an Insurrection on the Capitol in the transfer of power to the incoming administration. Remember there was never a peaceful transition. Donald Trump never conceded the Presidential election to Joe Biden.

Anyway, that testimony could be used against Donald Trump should Attorney General Merrick Garland chose to use it in future investigations and prosecute the ex-President for it. The D.C. District Court is run by Chief Judge Beryl A.Howell. She has ruled against Donald Trump in so many cases coming across her docket. Should the Trump legal team lose there in the Washington D.C. Circuit, they would make an Emergency Appeal to the United States Supreme Court. I hope that Chief Justice John Roberts who overseas the D.C. Circuit Court rules against him and his legal team and the D.C Circuit then compels him to testify to the House Committee before House Republican leadership dissolves its power in January 2023.

My feeling is that Chief Justice Roberts will refuse to hear arguments that the Trump legal team brings. The Supreme Court has refused to hear any of his appeals thus far.

Like the United States Senate runoff in Georgia between Reverend Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker. This upcoming case in the D.C. Circuit will keep the Washington Post, The Hill and Politico's subscriptions going. So the next three months will be compelling news to read.

As a side note, I like what attorney Ben Meiselas from the MeidasTouch calls MAGA ... "Makes Attorneys Get Attorneys" ...

Seems that lead attorney Alina Habba, and others: Michael Maidao, Peter Ticktin and Jamie Alan Sasson should be sanctioned in the frivolous lawsuit that Federal District Judge Donald Middlebrooks dismissed in a scathing order. Donald Trump and his attorneys filed the lawsuit against Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee. With sanctions, come possible state bar suspensions and license revocations for Trump's legal team. Another appeal to the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta will be coming. You know it will.

When Donald Trump blows it. He does an outstanding awesome job with his endorsements. || deep sarcasm.

Seems that the Arizona Gubernatorial election is not going his way either.

Damn, I sure the hell hope Trump catastrophically splits the party after this. Most people know damn well he won't go out quietly no matter what. He's narcissistic to the point it's a metal illness, cares about himself almost to any other concern, and is way more than willing to go scorched earth if any other candidate is selected that's not him in the next presidential election.

Watch the hypocritical shithead Republicans all of a sudden practically leap at the chance to get ranked choice going in a panicked emergency after continually badmouthing it from anywhere on the spectrum of calling it confusing to suggesting it subverted democracy, or was a tool for democrats to steel elections.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I just hope that enough republicans support a different candidate. He'll still run on the independent ticket, but if he has the official nod, the republicans are doomed. I think they realize it.
