Ahole Trump has deep ties to the mafia. He has more allegiance to Putin and the mafia than he does to America.

If Trump is still outside prison walls, he will run again. From all I witnessed about him, he is so much of a powerjunkie, and he needs the possibility to pardon crimes, he GOT to run.

Now, the question is:

Will enough bad things come to daylight that the GOP will burn the bridges

Hey Lux, do you think you'll need to launch one of your obsessive smear campaigns against Ron Desantis? I hope you have plenty of coal to shovel into the trusty ole Google Machine. You have your suspect so start pinning crimes on him before it's too late.

I only post facts and personal opinions.

DeSantis isn't directly connected to the mafia like ahole Trump is, so hopefully DeSantis wins the republican nomination to run for president in 2024.
Although DeSantis is a shifty republican, based on his personal life, education, and professional experience, I think he would be a competent republican president.

Republican policies and greedy price gouging corporations are the main cause of high inflation and high gas prices in most countries.

Thanks for the reply, Lux. We should have a podcast together. It'd be fun. Between the two of us everyone would get buried from both sides of the aisle. I'm definitely getting you high even if I sneak something into your Blueberry Muffin. You like Science Fiction. How about a Death Star?

GO WITH IT!

Ahole Trump conned and/or scammed most of the people who voted for him/it.

And those supporters want to give him more. They don’t seem to feel scammed or conned. He delivers for them.

The Democrats seem to ignore the reasons why Trump has a base. It is a lesson the ‘deplorables’ gave to Hillary.

We are at Trump's mercy it seems.
There's still hope. The same source states:
More Republicans trust DeSantis than Trump to chart path of GOP: poll
The ABC News/Ipsos poll, published on Sunday, found that 72 percent of registered Republicans believe that DeSantis, a former U.S. congressman, should have a great or good deal of influence in the future direction of the GOP, while 64 percent of respondents said the same of Trump.

It the GOP want the best chance of winning, they'll try to get trump & his supporters to back DeSantis. A united front, combined with joe's weak showing could spell disaster for them.

One of his biggest "legacies" is the normalizing of contesting election results and impeding the peaceful transition of power. And supporters taking militant action to back that up.
Case in point:

Brazil election: Bolsonaro supporters block roads after poll defeat

Bolsonaro declared he'd contest any result that didn't see him re-elected, and his silence so far shows he's probably going to keep that promise.
If he does, it wouldn't take much for this to turn into a Brazilian Jan 6

Bolsonaro breaks silence without publicly conceding
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-63451860

He thanked voters who had cast their ballots for him but did not acknowledge defeat.
But he did not contest the result either, as some had feared he would.
His chief of staff, Ciro Nogueira, spoke after Mr Bolsonaro's brief statement saying that the "process of transition" of power would begin.
Even though Mr Bolsonaro did not himself acknowledge defeat in his own words, Brazil's Supreme Court released a statement shortly after his speech saying that by authorising the transition of power, he had recognised the result of the election.

some supporters of Bolsonaro appeared emboldened by his silence.
"We will not accept losing what we have gained, we want what is written on our flag, 'order and progress'," one protester in Rio de Janeiro told AFP news agency. "We will not accept the situation as it is," the man added.

Better than nothing, I guess.
It's scary how similar his reaction is to rump though. It took hours for him to issue a statement, and even then, it wasn't decisive. Let's hope Bolsonaro has the sense to not want to be associated with a failed coup.

Trump’s legacy is bringing the practice to America. It has been around globally, but we have largely avoided the temptation to actively implement an obstruction plan.

Think about Venezuela - Guaido v Maduro. They are still battling that one out. Although recent gas prices have made the US more friendly with Maduro.

Did the Phillies book some time to complain about the World Series result?
