Any UFC fans present?

Well it's pretty clear Anderson Silva isn't going to lose until he gets too old. I'm going to go out on a limb and declare him the greatest champion in UFC history. Not only is he the longest reigning champion with the most title defences, he makes trained, championship calibre fighters, look like chumps. Who's the last person who lost, respectfully, to Silva?

I plead the 5th...

I'd say Chael Sonnen (UFC 117)

After Jon Jones destroys Rampage and Rashad Evans -- maybe the only bigtime fight left in the UFC will be Jon Jones v Anderson Silva @ 195lbs? If Silva fights at 185 and Jon Jones at 205 it seems to me they can meet in the middle at 195 without an advantage to either....

The problem is that fight probably won't happen until Fall 2012....a loooooong time from now

A Jon Jones vs Anderson Silva catch-weight match will be an awesome epic fight for the ages. If there's enough fan base overwhelming Dana White's UFC emails and tweets on Twitter with a request for a such a fight, Dana will speed up the match and its way better than making George St Pierre go up a weight class to fight Silva for the Middleweight crown.

Fighnews.com Monster fight set for Fox

UFC president Dana White always said the world’s biggest mixed martial arts promotion would be on network TV when the “right deal” came along.

Fox came along with the right deal and now, the UFC is going with a monster fight to introduce MMA to millions. On Nov. 12, shortly before Manny Pacquiao takes on Juan Manuel Marquez in a highly anticipated rematch, UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will put his title on the line against Junior dos Santos–on free TV.

I was going to say Sonnen, but it turned out he was on PED's, so fuck him.

Exactly! Fuck that guy.

The only person Silva really has left is Bones Jones or GSP, GSP will get his ass kicked so I think Jones would be a better fight, I'd really like to see Silva move up and fight Shogun or maybe even Machida, but I doubt any of those situations would happen.

Wait you guys actually enjoyed Rio? It was all right but it just seemed they were set up to ensure the hometown heroes would win.... The Silva and Rua fights weren't even competitive they were just ass kickin's.

When Anderson Silva knocked out Forrest Griffin as a LHW, him and his manager were cocky enough to ask Dana White for a title shot. It will be great to see Silva fight against Rampage, Jon Jones or Shogun that will certainly give him quite a fight of it. GSP is a welterweight and its unfair to try to move him up a weight class just to see who is the best pound-for-pound fighter. How about Silva vs GSP in a WW match?

As for Nick Diaz, he f@#ked up big time. He tried before in the UFC and failed. BTW, Jake Shields is the better fighter in their camp.

SF8 :2 cents:

I've hated that guy since I saw one of his videos for the first time... It's like he is such a douche and he acts like he's too busy to address his fans any other time so he's gotta do it while he's driving, distracted. Seriously he's filming himself while he's driving which shows me he's just a fucking idiot for putting himself and others in danger, that's shit is just as bad as driving while texting. He looks down to the camera, away from the road multiple times.

Aside from that, it's his own fault, he knows he's contractually obligated to go to that press conference and it's part of why he's getting paid so much to fight... Even NFL players have to attend a huge number of practices and meetings. Is it ridiculous that he's not fighting just cause he didn't go to the press conference? No, it's not, you have to promote the fight anyway you can and help out the business as much as possible.

Nick Diaz is an idiot and never liked him or his brother. Nick just couldn't just handle the pressure and cracked. I like Condit and think he has a chance against GSP but I still pick GSP to win.

I'm going for Condit. I think he's a worthy opponent and can pick apart St Pierre.

UFC Rio was good except for 2 things.

1- Every American looked like a bum out there

2- Silva vs Okami was fixed. Okami took a dive , watch the replay and Silva reactions

There is rumours that Schaub and Griffin took dives that night as well.

Not that I believe that bs. All 3 of those guys got beat by better opponents.
