I don't know; to me, he looked better than what the judges scored. Machida looked like he doubled Rampage up on solid hits, I literally think the only thing Rampage did better was keep pressing.
I saw the first two rounds just now and I wasn't impressed. In my opinion, no one wins in a split decision.
I was expecting Machida to KO rampage or win by UD but I'm a little glad that rampage won. looks like the Machida era died pretty quickly.
On a side note...who is as excited as me for KOS vs GSP?...I cant wait ,GO KOS!!

I heard that Rashad Evans abruptly left the Greg Jackson camp due to Jon Jones being brought in as a new addition to the team. During a UFC interview, Greg is unaware of any drift with Rashad and remains steadfast that he will remain neutral and will not corner either for their upcoming title fight.

Too many blind judges?
Just watched George St. Pierre and Jake Shields UFC119 main event. Even I heard a lot about this one.
I was mildly impressed. St. Pierre is fast, but wild. Shields was very methodical, slower, but very precise with his punches. He turned St. Pierre into St. Picasso when it was all done.
I agree with the judges though, the Champ deserved to win because he won the first 3 rounds, but Shields easily won the last 2 and if it went another round he would've beaten the Champ.
If Shields is this feared wrestler, submission guy why didn't he try to rush the Champ with 1 min left in Round 5? The Champ was bloody and blind in his left eye for most of the fight...Shields didn't really try to take the Champ to the mat. The Champ took Shields down a couple of times but retreated off of him.
I think there needs to be a rematch, to be honest. St. Pierre was lucky to hold on for the win, and I'd watch those two again.

nothing wrong with taking anyone in who's got the skills...there is something wrong with the way they schedule fights...it seem to not be as merit based anymore but rather ratings based which both sucks and is understandable i suppose...money is king
UFC is not even close to wrestling. Brock beat up credible fighters in Mir and Couture. Just cuz an ex WWE employee is a big name in UFC doesn't make it like WWE. Next!
GSP let up on Shields IMO. I know his eye was scratched, or bruised, whatever. GSP's willingness to take the safe win was the only reason Shields made a stand in the last rounds. It was still unanimous. GSP kept it quiet when asked about a move to middleweight. Silva will eat him alive.
Aldo is a beast. Maybe the best fighter in the world after Anderson Silva.
