Goodnight, OSU.

Meyer looks like he's ready to kill himself.

LOL yeah.

Hats off to Michigan St. They were just the better football team. The way the game was going, didn't think it would be our offense that cost us the game. Really seemed like we were playing tight and going for the big plays.

Oh, well. Auburn vs Florida St should be an awesome match-up though.

Congratulations to the Auburn Tigers and their 2013 SEC Championship!

they say the new alabama state line sign says...home of the crystal ball. you took the wheel. dont let us down boys WAR DAMN EAGLE!!! yea i said it. SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC

if anyone wants to know what pie face urban meyer was walking up and down the sideline looking for. it was tim tebow..........................besides that i just want to say. i still think jamie winston has the best arm this year. but i found out today he becomes average when the pressure is turned on. they wore duke out. but for 2 qtrs they gave them all they wanted. when duke plays you the hardest game you played all season. let me just put it like THIS. the two best teams in the nation is not playing for the NC. i will just leave it there and explain after the game.

There's a picture that goes along with that, but it's all a fake. Somebody used photoshop to come up with that after last year's Bama win.

Here's something shameful. At the end of the day, one of our local news stations, Fox 6, showed some real bias. Instead of talking about how Auburn won the SEC Championship, they wanted to talk about how voters might leapfrog Bama over Auburn, so the Tide could play FSU.

What a load of shit.

It would be interesting to see what Winston would be able to do against Sparty's defense. Like I said before, if it wasn't for some questionable officiating in South Bend, Sparty could be undefeated right now. I don't think that Ohio State got exposed as much as Michigan State showed that it's a damn good football team.

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
They seriously need a playoff system, there's really never been a true champion in college football when you think about it.

NO i disagree. they beat bama on the field. but i will say this. if we had a 4 team playoff this year bama and auburn would be playing for the ball. after yesterday. as bad as the score looked. duke was in florida st face till they just tired out but i seen i dont think fla st could beat either bama gang this year. winston has a gun. but i also seen when the heat gets turned up he is still young. he made some (fixable) mistakes against duke he may not have got away with against the bama gang. anyway chalk another crystal ball up for the state of alabama. (i figured that sign was photo shopped. but if auburn brings it home again. i am all about fixing it like it should be) lol

Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State - I think State wins. Not easily, though
UCF vs SMU - I think UCF will win, but they're currently losing.
Duke vs. Florida State - duh. Florida State will pound them.
Ohio State vs. Michigan State - I hope hope hope Michigan state wins. Hard for an Irish fan to route for a Michigan team, unless they're playing Ohio State... I think Michigan pulls it off, though.
Missouri vs. Auburn - I think Auburn takes it. But not by much.
Stanford vs. Arizona State - Stanford will handily win this one.
Baylor vs. Texas - When was the last time Texas was a four loss team? They're going to be today.

1 wrong, 6 right. Not bad.

Duke secondary is better than Auburn's secondary. Winston is the best against the blitz in the country. Our offense should be much more explosive when we play on January 6, 2014. Auburn is going to have gamble throughout the game, so they can stop the 2nd most productive offense in NCAA history. Our defense was designed to stop spread offenses. We have much more versatile defensive personnel than Alabama or Missouri. Auburn's offense doesn't worry me.

Three lullabies in an ancient tongue
There was one who believed in Mizzou. This morning, ESPN's website had Mizzou favored by 2 scores. The Mizzou curse strikes again!

LOL....the curse is a myth but, hey, hats off to Auburn....they were the better team last night. Congratulations! And I gotta say that I still believe in Mizzou....I'm a fan, dammit! We'll be back....new kids on the block for all the SEC hard-liners but hopefully we gained some well-earned respect this season. We've got a lot of kids coming back, some really good underclassmen coming up, Beckham is finally blossoming into the dominant player is is destined to be and Mauk will be under center so we're going to be just fine in Columbia.

Commentary: Taking nothing away from the winners but that was one of the sloppiest defensive games by both sides of a championship game that I have ever seen. If Missouri had decided to abandon their "gotta establish the run" philosophy and just chucked the ball to Beckham or Washington in the end zone every time they got past midfield I bet they would have scored at least half the time. Also, what was Steckel thinking about by playing all those 3 and 4 man fronts all night?? Has he not watched enough film on Auburn to know that you have to at least slow down their running game if you want to beat them?? Auburn was able to run at 8-12-25 yards a clip whenever they wanted to! Why Missouri didn't put 8 in the box and dare Marshall to beat them with his arm is beyond me....they never even attempted a look like that all night! I'm sure it will be the hot topic on St. Louis talk radio tomorrow for sure. Alas....what could have been. :hairpull: :brick: Oh well, next year....

Now....go beat FSU, OK? Please???

Some of ESPN analysts are just idiots. If Auburn keeps using tempo, they may give the 2nd most productive offense in NCAA history 15+ possessions in a game.

... Auburn's offense doesn't worry me.
That's just foolish.

Andre Williams ran for 149 yards on FSU, and Tre Mason is much better than him. Add in the fact that Auburn is stacked deep with runners, and the NC game could look like the SEC game, a shootout.

I'll be the first to admit that Auburn's defense is suspect, but it is an SEC defense and really, FSU is untested. BCU hung 34 on them and they ended their season with 5 losses.

Their signature win of the season, Clemson? I said at the start of the season Clemson was overrated and they certainly showed it.

What I would like to see is Auburn's backup QB get in the game on a few plays. When it comes to passing, he is much better than Marshall.

Something funny: Last year, a friend of mine (a super-obnoxious Alabama fan), went to the big game and watched Bama crush Notre Dame. After coming home, he wanted to taunt his daughter-in-law (an Auburn fan). He jokingly told her that if Auburn made it there in 2013, he’d pay for everything to send her and a friend to the game. After Malzahn was hired, she reminded him of what he said. He laughed in her face and said he meant every word. Now, he’s gotta shell out around $7,000 to keep his word. Life is good.

Something else that’s funny: A friend of mine told me that Saban got a new nickname, One Tick Nick.

A little dated, but hilarious:
Someone asked me, what was the best pass in Auburn history?
Answer: When Cam Newton threw that laptop out the window. :D
