nope. besides how many Pitchers actually get stronger after the 6th inning. Justin's fastest fastballs are usually in the 7th,8th and 9th when he hits. 100 consistently

Justin Verlander is the best hands down, those nasty curves and sliders are unmatchable.

i suspect the Rangers and Hamilton will work something out.

well the Angels are not unhappy yet concerned though.

Tia Ling the Indians made up for 2 bad games by smoking the Red Sox yesterday.

i love the fact that the Pirates and Astros have better records than the Red Sox whose payroll is more than both those teams combined.

Yeag that wasn't our series , though

Sad to see him go.

Agreed. Although, his timing was perfect, as it would have been even sadder to see him stay given his body of work this season.

I'm not a Cubs fan, per se, but I was born in Indiana so I have a certain fondness for the Cubbies. I always wonder what the Cubs could have been if Wood and Prior had both stayed healthy at the same time, in their primes.

The Tommy John cursed him forever, as it has so many before and after Kerry.

Kind of sad to see Kerry go as the Cubs need his experience in that bullpen but since he got to leave his way that's great.

hopefully last night is the last start the A's ever give to Graham Godfrey, it was like the Angels hitters knew what was coming.

TJ really can be a crap shoot. Some pitchers get it and never return to form, others have the procedure, and 18 months later are throwing 6-7 mph faster, with better control, and become, arguably, better pitchers than they were before the procedure. I'm impressed with the way Jake Peavy looks this season, after having a detached lat muscle reconnected, I was wondering if he would ever pitch again, never mind his effectiveness. Having a great season: 5-1, 2CG, 1SHO, 5:1 K/BB ratio, 2.39 ERA, sub 1 WHIP. Wow.

Chicago Flubs have lost their ninth in a row.

Just sayin'.

Well i'm not surprised by the Cubs bad season at all. i just hope they Deal Garza and Dempster soon so the real rebuilding process can start. oh an man up and release Soriano

i kinda love the Indians in first because it proves that money can't fix everything ie Detroit who needs some pitching.

Today marked the Flubs 11th loss in a row.

My friend and I bet on the Rangers/Jays series.

I thought I at least had a Chance of winning it... But I guess not.

The Chicago Flubs might hit their 12th loss in a row today. Regardless..... With their 3-2 loss to the Pirates on Saturday, the Cubs have run their losing streak to 11 games for the 11th time in franchise history.

Frickin' Reds are catching fire. There's a lot of season left so I'm not in a panic. I think the Cards and Reds are gonna duke it out for the central all year.

Go Cards!!!!!!!!

Fucking Red Sox. It figures that the day Buchholz actually pitches well and Gonzo actually comes up big in the clutch that our "closer" would blow it

It's official...... Cubs lose their 12th in a row.
