Miami Masters draw is out!

http://www.thesportscampus.com/2011032111168/tennis-news/sony-ericsson-open-preview

projected QFs:
Nadal vs Berdych
Federer vs Roddick
Ferrer vs Soderling
Djokovic vs Murray

interesting matches:
Nadal vs Dolgo in 4th round
Gulbis vs Berdych in 3rd round
Simon vs Roddick in 3th round
Ferrer vs Raonic in 3th round
Ljubicic vs Gasquet in 2nd round
Fish vs Gasquet in 3rd round
Delpo vs Soderling in 3rd round
Isner vs Murray in 3rd round
Verdasco vs Davydenko in 3rd round

Rafa got lucky again: his path to the SF looks clear. On the other hand, Nole got harder, since Murray awaits in the QF. Roger can't complain, since these days it's easier to beat Rafa than Nole, so, it's better stay in that half.

A Fedal SF would be awesome!

Davydenko lost in Miami 1st round

and his miserable run continues... he's 2-5 since Oz...

he used to be one of my favorites...

Milos Raonic lost in his first match at Miami Masters

:(

It was against another rising-up-youngster: Devvarman.

What's happenning to Milo ? too much pressure ? tired ?

maybe we're expecting too much of him ? :dunno: i certainly hope not...

Murray lost in his 1st match in Miami Masters

http://www.espn.co.uk/tennis/sport/story/81660.html

Wow.

He lost again no. 128, Alex Bogomolov, Jr in straight sets, losing his serve 7 times. :anonymous

Jesus. what's wrong with Andy ? :dunno:

he's 0-3 since Oz final.

good news for Isner, who now got his path clear to his first career QF (since Verdasco also lost: he's 1-4 since San Jose...)

top-ten-ers in trouble!

Milos could be going through a rough patch, don't want to dismiss him so quickly. We wouldn't do that to guys like Ferrer or Baghdatis who lost in their first match last tournament too. Not everyone is Federer or Nadal and makes at least the SF almost every time. He didnt get destroyed or anything either, was quite close even though he wasnt serving great and Somdev is having his best results this year too.

Murray is just terrible though, losing to 100+ ranked qualifiers two tournaments in a row. His post-AO slump is even worse this year, he made the the QF of IW last time at least.
I guess he won't be back to normal until Wimbledon again.

Edit: Now Stan is gone 6-3 in the third.

yeah, 'cause in the dirty clay, he's NOT a top-10.

Edit: Now Stan is gone 6-3 in the third.

he lost :(

his section is now easy for Ferrer, who will face Fish/Gasquet/Soderling/Delpo

YES! :nanner: Delpo beat Kohlscheriber in three tight sets

7-5 in the third set, 3:03 minutes of suffering.

man, this german is TOUGH!

the good news for delpo? he continues to improving.

the bad news? he will be very tired to face Soderling (probably) on sunday.

but he's young and mentally strong...

VAMOS DELPO!!!

Yeah I like PK, bad luck to have drawn Delpo again. Both matches at IW and now Miami were tough and very close but JMDP is good enough to win the big points it seems. Out of their last 5 sets there were three tiebreaks and a 7-5.

Djokovic won 6-0 6-1, he is still dealing out bagels and breadsticks like a master baker.

Roddick to lost Cuevas(!), that is a real hit to his rankings. I think he will drop to 13 when the ranking are updated.
Melzer lost too. Monfils is doing well with these guys losing even though he hasn't played IW or Miami due to injury.

great news for Simon, who now got an easier opponent and will reach the 4th round.

and great news for Roger as well, who beat Stepanek earlier today, easily. Actually, Fed has won 18 consecutive sets from the Czech

next for Roger, another no-trouble: Monaco.

Another extreme-o doubles point. Even playing with the hottest guy on tour slump-Murray finds a way to lose it :anonymous

wow

amazing.

and yes, Murray sucks since Oz, not only in singles i'm afraid...

the bottom-half 4th round are (almost) ready:
Ferrer - Granollers (easy for David)
Fish - Delpo (awesome match. My bet is with Delpo, who today played as a top-5)
Isner - Anderson (like i said, John will make his 1st important QF)
Troicki - Blake/Nole (well, Nolerminator should breeze against both the american and the serbian)
