Wisconsin looks unstoppable but, other than Nebraska, they haven't really been challenged. Hard to know just how good they really are until they have to face a true quality opponent.

Huskers were ranked 8th when the Cheese played them. They only face two more opponents even ranked to go, and both lower than that. Another way of gauging their strength: Points For: 300. Points Against: 58.

Ron Zook is a moron. Illini down by 10 with about 1:30 to play....4th down and 2 near the Ohio State 20. You need two scores no matter what so FG time, right? WRONG according to Zook. He went for it on 4th down, didn't make it, game over. Just dumb.

Congrats to Sparty for a big win against Michigan. Just like Illinois, Michigan has been playing over their heads and it was just a matter of time before someone knocked them off.

I gotta hand it to Texas A & M....their offense is crazy good and Tannehill might actually be a better QB than Landry Jones is. He's certainly more athletic and mobile. He had over 400 yds. and 6 TDs today. Thing is, Griffin actually threw for more yards than Tannehill did in a losing effort. Baylor's defense is their downfall. Fun team to watch though.

Texas made a game of it until OSU pulled away in the 4th quarter. Looks more like David Ash is going to be the starter going forward and I think that's smart on Mack's behalf although McCoy is definitely the public's favorite. He's a better passer than Case McCoy and is much more mobile. Malcolm Brown showing stud status as a true frosh RB. Things look bright for the future in Austin.

Is there a team that is better in all phases of the game right now than LSU? Geez....they just roll up everyone they play. Of course, you might make the same statement about Alabama. Their showdown on November 5 will be epic. Can't wait....that may be the true NC game once it is all said and done.

Lastly, K-State is starting to win me over. Collin Klein has been tremendous, their defense is terrific and because of their zone-option oriented offensive scheme, most defenses are ill-prepared to stop them. Kudos to Bill Snyder....perhpas the most underrated coach ever. The guy does nothing but win.

I have to eat some crow and agree. Their defense was terrific. Although, as a typical OSU fan, your spelling is atrocious. :1orglaugh :jk:

Spelling? whoops on the Undefeated! very long day, sorry!

:D

Yeah that was truly dumb.

today's dumb decision runner up goes to: Mack Brown for passing the ball on third and 3 from the OSU 3 despite the fact Texas' rushing game had OSU's D on its heels much of the day. Down 14 points in the 4th quarter, it was an obvious 4 down situation. But for whatever dumb reason he played away from his strength and Texas didn't score. The incompletion on 3rd down all but forced Texas to pass again on 4th.

im a die hard bama fan ..with no Love for auburn or florida...however ..florida got screwed over in auburn. my lock hit this week (by one point) ..i was thinking clemson and okl st may fall..i was wrong about okl st hands down..but clemson went home with maryland footprints alll up in their ass:wave: LSU or BAMA...which one falls??? standing here now i dont see a point one way or the other...but bama will be 3 for home field

Also, LSU will beat Alabama down as long as they take care of the ball.

These Gators look worse than last year's. Six points against Auburn's sorry ass defense? And ASU got fucked against Oregon, that (non-)fumble call completely changed the game. And Trent Richardson is a beast. When he goes to the NFL, he will instantly be the 2nd best RB in the league after Adrian Peterson. And this may sound scandalous, but I'm taking Robert Griffin III and his upside over the big man crush, Andrew Luck. Griffin is more mobile, more accurate, and has just as strong an arm. And he doesn't over rely on tight ends and runningbacks like Luck does. He's a better passer than Cam Newton.

D. And the Bayou Bengals would still maul us. Ahh, maybe I'm just sore after my adoptive Tigers got spanked in b'ball yesternight. Too bad I stopped following the Jays...they would never get my hopes up then break my heart like that. :crying: To keep on topic, let me just say that we have a couple-in-a-row challenges coming up. We shall see.

I went 12-4 this week. Surely somebody beat that.

Yes well it's common knowledge down here that Mack isn't exactly the second coming of Bill Walsh when it comes to Xs and Os. A lot of us wish that he would just stick to recruiting and giving rah-rah speeches at half time and leave the decision-making to his assistants. In this instance, I am certain that Mack gave the thumbs up to pass on 3rd down....a truly dumb call for sure.

im a die hard bama fan ..

Whatttt??? :eek::surprise::1orglaugh

I hope LSU and Bama are still undefeated when they play next month, that is going to be a great game. Same for OU-OSU, though they don't play until later in the season. Winner of those two games plus possibly Whisky and BSU will be in the title hunt.

Next week, Bama plays Tennessee and LSU plays Auburn, and then both teams have an off-week.

I don't see Bama having any problems and Auburn's only chance is for Barrett Trotter to suffer a freak accident and not play as Chizik is too damn stubborn to see that Trotter is fucking horrible at quarterback! Give Kiehl Frazier a shot, or at the very least, third stringer Clint Moseley. They sure as hell can't do any worse!

6 games into the season for Oklahoma and I think we've found their weakness... TDs in the redzone. In 2008 this was actually one of OU's strengths because of big TE Jermaine Gresham, and that huge O-line. This year OU doesn't have a reliable TE, big receivers, or a powerful O-line. Redzone woes was an issue against Florida St, Mizzou, and Kansas. I'm guessing this will come back to bite OU.

My top 10:

1. Alabama
2. LSU
3. Oklahoma (they looked like shit against Kansas)
4. Oklahoma St
5. Wisconsin
6. Stanford
7. Oregon
8. Boise St
9. Clemson
10. South Carolina

I went 12-4 this week. Surely somebody beat that.

I went 14-2 (Virginia and Ohio St pulled off upsets).
