Right now, I look at it this way:

1st tier - Bama, LSU, OU

2nd tier - Whisky, OSU, BSU, Stanford, Arky, Oregon, and a few other 1 loss teams

3rd tier - Everyone else.

I saw the first BCS standings on ESPN, they have 1) LSU, 2) Bama, 3) OU

i actually think right now, Ok. State is going knock OU out of this picture eventually.
LSU and Bama are going to determine effectively who gets the SEC's place in the BCS Championship game.
Wisconsin is going to be road tested in the coming weeks, were going to see if theyre a product of the schedule or not starting with Michigan St. next week.

This is set for another wild ending and once again Boise will be there to reap the benefits if things get too out of control...almost did last year, and theres potential for it again this year.

Looks like LSU-Alabama and Oklahoma-Ok State could effectively serve as national semifinals.

:yesyes:

Wouldn't it be great if we end up with (1) SEC and (1) Big 12 team undefeated and have Clemson, Wisconsin, Boise State and Stanford all run the table??? Would a 1-loss Alabama or LSU nose out one of the other undefeateds? BCS madness. :elaugh:

This week's matchups....from now on we're going with the BCS instead of the AP because that's the only poll that counts.

Washington at Stanford
Illinois at Purdue
Georgia Tech at Miami (FL)
Penn St. at Northwestern
Auburn at LSU
Marshall at Houston
Texas A&M at Iowa St.
Wisconsin at Michigan St.
West Virginia at Syracuse
Nebraska at Minnesota
Boston College at Virginia Tech
Kansas St. at Kansas
Oregon at Colorado
Arkansas at Ole Miss
North Carolina at Clemson
Air Force at Boise St.
Oklahoma St. at Missouri
Texas Tech at Oklahoma
Tennessee at Alabama
Auburn at LSU

20 games this week....get 'em in by Saturday before kickoff.

Washington at Stanford Stanfords first true challenge of the season
Illinois at Purdue
Georgia Tech at Miami (FL) i was never sold on Georgia Tech, and Virginia proved me right
Penn St. at Northwestern
Auburn at LSU Just a good scrimmage for the LSU defense before they face a real offense 2 weeks later
Marshall at Houston
Texas A&M at Iowa St.
Wisconsin at Michigan St. Sparty makes this really hard on Wisconsin
West Virginia at Syracuse
Nebraska at Minnesota
Boston College at Virginia Tech
Kansas St. at Kansas
Oregon at Colorado Close your eyes CU fans, this game will get ugly really fast
Arkansas at Ole Miss
North Carolina at Clemson
Air Force at Boise St. this should be a high scoring game
Oklahoma St. at Missouri
Texas Tech at Oklahoma
Tennessee at Alabama yippee, a practice game for the Tide
Auburn at LSU Didnt i just see this game above *is confused*

So i went a rather average 11-5 last week.

Why not include USC at Notre Dame on this list?
:dunno:

If Wisconsin wins out, and no SEC team is undefeated, they have no worries. Stanford has a horrible schedule, but beating Oregon alone may be enough to sway voters. Clemson and Boise State are damned due to their crappy conferences. Clemson's schedule is gravy from here on out. Clemson better hope Auburn keeps on winning and that one of the Tech's finishes strong to set up a big meeting in the ACC title game.

Very simple. Because neither team is ranked in the top 25 BCS poll.

I think it's non-sense that Notre Dame and USC aren't ranked (same with Arizona State). I got 'em both ranked. Houston has played no one, and Penn State lost heavily to the only half decent opponent they played. The voters, in particular the coaches, put too much weight into record. I'll always take a team who has more losses but more quality wins over a team with a great record against a bunch of nobodies.

Washington at Stanford (I'm so hoping UW wins so Luck falls in the Heisman race and someone actually deserving goes to the top)
Illinois at Purdue (They're quietly improving)
Georgia Tech at Miami (FL) (Another team not deserving of a ranking, Ga Tech)
Penn St. at Northwestern
Auburn at LSU
Marshall at Houston (Houston's schedule makes Boise's schedule look Pac-10 caliber)
Texas A&M at Iowa St. (Fact: Texas A&M is a top 5 team that was unlucky to drop two games. Easily the best 2 loss team.)
Wisconsin at Michigan St.
West Virginia at Syracuse
Nebraska at Minnesota
Boston College at Virginia Tech
Kansas St. at Kansas
Oregon at Colorado
Arkansas at Ole Miss (Damn, alot of good teams are on the road this week)
North Carolina at Clemson (Upset)
Air Force at Boise St. (The sad thing is that this is the 2nd or 3rd toughest game on Boise's schedule)
Oklahoma St. at Missouri (Missouri is this year's Arizona State. Much better than their record when all is said and done will indicate.)
Texas Tech at Oklahoma
Tennessee at Alabama (The one week outta the year when I'm a Bama fan)

This week's games are a yawn fest until the night games.

Washington at Stanford
Illinois at Purdue
Georgia Tech at Miami (FL)
Penn St. at Northwestern (I'm a long time Penn State fan but this year's team is mediocre and ripe for an upset)
Auburn at LSU
Marshall at Houston
Texas A&M at Iowa St.
Wisconsin at Michigan St. (Wisconsin covers the spread)
West Virginia at Syracuse
Nebraska at Minnesota (Nebraska covers the spread with ease)
Boston College at Virginia Tech
Kansas St. at Kansas
Oregon at Colorado
Arkansas at Ole Miss
North Carolina at Clemson (picking Clemson but betting NC State +10 1/2)
Air Force at Boise St.
Oklahoma St. at Missouri
Texas Tech at Oklahoma
Tennessee at Alabama

Notre Dame favored by 9 points over USC
Titsrock's probably mortgaging his house to bet this one :D

Penn St. at Northwestern (Close game, PSU wins it in the end)
Auburn at LSU (LSU with players on suspension?? Yikes. Well, they win anyway)
Marshall at Houston (Coogs roll up the Herd at home)

Wisconsin at Michigan St. (I'm picking the Badgers until someone shows me they can beat them)
West Virginia at Syracuse (Mountaineers in a close one)
Nebraska at Minnesota (Huskers roll against hapless Gophers)
Boston College at Virginia Tech (Hokies win at Blacksburg)
Kansas St. at Kansas (Wildcats take out in-state rivals in Lawrence)

North Carolina at Clemson (NC can't stay with Tigers)
Air Force at Boise St. (BSU wins on the smurf turf once again)

Tennessee at Alabama ('Bama rolls up the Vols)

I think the biggest affect is Chizik finally wised up and put Barrett Trotters ass on the bench, but I'm concerned that he promoted 3rd stringer Clint Moseley over 2nd stringer Kiehl Frazier. I can only assume he did that because Frazier is a freshman.

Keep this up and the SEC teams might fall into the Top 10.

Pucker Up Butter Cup.
Mizzou better get out of dodge, go to the SEC now. I'm watching this game and they are getting whipped but the refs are clearly in favor of Okie State and giving them help they don't need, the ref just stopped the game to talk to the fans about something retarded that they were doing lol . Mizzou is going to get fucked with all season, just watch.
