Yep, they sure were crap!

They were ABJECT!!!

At Manchester United, Wayne Rooney reportedly earns £90,000 per week (due to go up on his next contract) and approx £760,000 per year in image rights. He also supposedly earns from Nike a reported £1million per year.

I don't like booing one's own team, but Rooney & Co deserved it....those England fans who travelled 10,000 miles, who scrimped and saved to watch a pile of doggie-doo, that would have been a disgrace on a Sunday morning at the Hackney Marshes!!!!

What is this bullshit!?

Moving to a trailer in Fife, AL.
didn't the South African president say before the games started he hoped the US didn't advance to the round of 16 because Obama would show up and the security would be near impossible to pull off

What is this bullshit!?

I can prove it. It happened before in hockey. Britain won the gold medal at the Winter Olympics 1936 in Garmisch. And then the great tradition suddenly ceased because the next two Games had to be cancelled on account of WW II. The UK team has never recovered from that shock.

Now put 2 and 2 together. It is crystal.clear:
The war was a worldwide conspiracy to destroy British ice hockey. Adolf Hitler was a Canadian spy who plotted with Joe Stalin (whose USSR was to become the second powerhouse after the war). In a secret protocol modification to the Ribbentrop-Molotov-Pact they not only divided up Poland between them (to prevent the imminent breakthrough of the Polish baseball team on international level) but also laid the grounds for the annihilation of British hockey.

 Grrrrr!

Is somewhere outhere.
Well after the hilarious show of last night in Cape Town.We might
actually see some decent football today :nanner:

The Dutch should beat Japan, the Ghanians should take advantage of
Germanys blip and go for 1st place in the group and I fancy Cameroon
over the Danes :thefinger

Anelka, Ribery, Gallas, Abidal, Henry, Sagna and Vieira should never be taken in the National Team, ever !

Its called a draw actually, & it was England that drew with Algeria NOT 'the Brits'

Anyway, where can I buy an Anyone But England t-shirt?

Scotland.

England were rubbish against Algeria, England didn't look confident at all, why do the defenders keep passing the ball back to James from long range when they can just past it to other players or at least boot the ball forward.

Netherlands 1 - 0 Japan

Not a great score, not a great match but still, Netherlands now got 6 points, they are qualified for the next round. Not very impressive but still efficient since they won both games without a getting any goal against them.

Is anyone else noticing how players are having constant trouble connecting with the net during the tourney? It seems like a lot of the kicks are going way over the net or just over. You are not getting a lot of those spectacular curving shots on the goal that we have seen in 2006 and 2002. We do get the players trying, but a lot of the time when they do it either goes way over the net or to the side.

Does it have to do with being so high over sea level or the ball?
